I love Shinto so much, it helped me understand how the Divine reveals itself through and in Nature. (^-^) It's very unfortunate that in Europe we lost our version of that kind of spirituality (called "paganism").
@@jaxthewolf4572 That is true, however paganism has to be revived and reconstructed and there is much we don't know or understand about its authentic views and practices (especially for Norse, Germanic, and Celtic paganism), while Shinto has lasted as a tradition without interruption to this very day.

Why can't united States be like this??? We are so Poisoned with so much negative. Japan is so beautiful in many ways. And I wish united states would have the common sense to do something like this and work together and all this neat stuff that japan does... United States is nothing but corrupted. Many introductions to Shinto emphasize "no teachings, no doctrines" etc. but this is misleading. In Shinto, there is a belief that people are naturally good. So instead of prescribing certain rules for living, the daily rituals, prayers, and formalized worship are ways of aligning oneself with divine energy, which brings you back to your True Nature. This energy will then overflow into your daily actions, speech, etc., so there really isn't need to say 'do this, don't do that' because you will accomplish this naturally. Also, the shrine shown in this video is part of Konko Shinto, which is actually a denomination of Shinto that does have a founder and teachings. Hope this answered your question!
