  • Francesco Tristano presents various musical visions of water with his own works and pieces by composers from the Baroque to the Avant-Garde. In some of his works, Tristano improvises using the electronic processing of water samplers, while others are based on the combination of the piano and live electronics. In a Landscape by Cage, composed during the late 1940s, is based on a limited register of the piano, while Takemitsu’s For Away evokes the music of the Balinese gamelan.
