Hey there orch I just wanted to give you some advice for saving time, if you died and had a save, quit the game and load it from the main menu it rewinds the time back to when you saved
Aiming the scope and looking down pushes you backwards a tiny bit. It’s used to clip into walls. In the regenerator section they use it to clip into the wall so the regenerators won’t attack you while you wait for the keycard.
In this run it was 35. There's some rng, my three times I did it was 31 and 32. Apparently you can kill it with a lot less if you get to kill it before he goes below the boat when trying to munch the boat, because if it does it regenerates health

Ngl, this game was disappointing. Started off good, but then descended into complete looney toons. Too many cut scenes with Leon looking "perfect" in every shot, generic boss fights, cringy dialogue especially with Luis, no back story for Ashley, and awful voice acting for Ada. The only parts I liked were the first quarter, some of the castle, and the lab. Everything else was meh.
I think it was fun, just not my preferred RE style. It's basically an action game that pretends to be survival, action, horror. I finished it twice and that's probably all I'll do.
@@thelgpain6529 that's the thing though, it does have moments of true survival horror, like the chainsaw guy, the knights in the castle, Verdugo the basement dweller, and best of all the Regeneradors. Then they add in all this extra fluff which spoils it. The boss fight with Krauser is so bad I could barely watch it. It's like they can't decide what type of game they want to make.
@@cun7us I agree with you on that. Didnt enjoy the Krauser fight. To be honest, I didn't like the Island section at all. And the final boss fight is still disappointing.

The near/far mechanic with Ashley was unnecessary too, should have just had her move where she needs to automatically.

So i found the mod, its called RE4 Overlay and Cheat Utils on nexus mods, you can fully customize the layout and location of the info, pretty neat

RE4 has always been Looney Toons my brother. If we want "true" survival horror, we play RE 2 Remake.
