I like that your being blatantly honest. You’re not shilling products that are useless. My husband has lost both his parents. I’m blessed my parents are still here. I understand completely about having a vehicle that can be more easily accessible. Sending blessings 💕
You forgot to ask people to watch the ads which YT put in your videos... I know that can help a lot too... even just watching for a minute can help. Its refreshing to see someone asking their subscribers to do things which dont cost them money. I am so over many content creators using YT to have 'fund raisers' or 'raffles' - its like YT has become a personal 'gofundme' for some while they sit there with their flash hair and showing us their newest purchases - yarn hauls, subscription boxes etc.... its so hypocritical! THANK YOU for not being one of those! I've been watching and subscribed since around 2018 (maybe?) and have often shared you great videos. Of course I'll continue to watch, like, comment and share!
Sending a big hug from across the pond , it's ok to ask for help your need is genuine and people can see that ,please remember to take care of you as well ,much luv to you 🫶🏻
I completely understand buying a car that you don't really want. In August, I had to trade in my 2013 Chevy Cruze because it had left me on the side of the road five times in three months. So now I'm in a Sentra, and the payments literally doubled. And I also understand the parent thing, mine are doing okay, but anytime my mom gets in my car she complains about how low to the ground it is and she's barely over 5' tall. You're doing an amazing thing for your dad. I will definitely be watching your videos when they appear, although I haven't done much knitting at all. Mostly because I'm too new at it to make it relaxing, it's very much work when I try to do it. Imagine a death grip on my needles and the utmost concentration, LOL I can really only knit and purl and I'm not sure where to go from there, so maybe you could try an "almost beginner" series because I don't have any idea how to progress from there. I did knit a garment but it started with a provisional cast on and I have no idea how to take it off, so it's literally been sitting in a silk bag for two years because I'm afraid of messing it up on my own.
I literally just discovered your channel about 20 minutes ago when I was searching for beginner crochet tutorials (yours was fabulous, BTW) and now this video just popped up on my feed! I can empathize with what you are going through and I have no doubt your dad feels so blessed to have such a loving, caring daughter. Cherish every moment you are able to spend with your parents. I'll be very happy to help support your channel and I look forward to exploring more of your content. Sending love and prayers to you and your family. 💖🙏
I understand what you are going through completely. I helped my dad, also. He had macular degeneration and was completely blind in his left eye. I took him to have his injections and different things he had to have done until his death. I understand, and I support you. I will watch and comment. May God bless you and your parents.
@TheNervousKnitter I was both my parents caregiver at the same time. It was very rewarding but also difficult mentally. They died 2 yrs apart. It's been 8 & 10 yrs and I'm still feeling the loss. Please take care of yourself 1st. You are by no means neglecting your Dad if you do. I can tell you that it's crucial to. Your video popped up so you are getting out there in the algorithm. I will watch, comment and subscribe. All the best. We are here when you need to vent. Love & blessings from NJ ❤
I feel your pain. Our family went thru a similar situation with my husband. It’s hard. Take time out for YOU… every day… even if it’s only 10 minutes. Your Dad wouldn’t want you to burnout. If we watch your old videos again and comment on them… again… does that help???
Hello Charlotte, no need to apologize for asking for help. I am so happy that you are helping your dad. I will do my best to watch all that you post. Sending prayers to you and your family.
Your parents have raised a very sweet and caring daughter. I enjoy your tutorials, in fact I was on your site yesterday, reviewing how to make a granny square.
For some reason I can't comment on the video, but I can reply so I will. I can relate to you having to care for your dad. It is a stressful job as an adult child to have to turn into their caregiver. My dad had dementia and I cared for him in various ways for the last couple of years of his life when my mom couldn't because of her limitations. Hang in there. We are here for you.
Idk why your video popped on my feed but it really resonated with me. I have been taking care of my mom the past 3 years with no income. I am seriously about to start a UA-cam page but fighting the fear. I do want to start it to share my stories and to make money as well. Im using your video for inspiration. Prayers for you and your dad. Im also manifesting getting a larger and more accessible vehicle to be able to transport my mom in. So I guess it was meant for me to see your video, you needed my support and I needed your story/inspiration ❤
I will be glad to help you hi my name is m o n a joy Clark I live in clintonville Wisconsin originally from Marion Ohio spent most of my time in Texas I am 68 I will be glad to listen to your videos and I will pray for you God is good all the time and all the time God is good I will pray for your dad too 👍👍🙏🙏🙏👌
Keep up the good fight! I actually just bought the yarn to make my mom the mile a minute pattern from you yesterday and I can't wait to dig in. I love watching you crochet; the way you have 0 tension, but your work comes out flawless each time is outstanding🔥
You’re going to get through this. I cared for my mom with cancer then my dad for 1 yr 9 months after my mom passed he passed of a stroke. I found him in the morning he was awake but couldn’t communicate with me. Then he passed 2 days later at the hospital. So I was caregiver for them both. I was 30 (mom) and 31 (dad) when they passed. So you will get through this. Sending lots of love to you and your parents 💖💖💖💖💖💖
Oh my goodness...you are a wonderful person and a dutiful daughter to your Dad 👍🏼I will begin rewatching and interacting with your videos because you're an amazing knitter and Instructor. Thanks to your videos I have learned so many new stitches🧶everything will work out and as everyone else has said, I will keep you and your Dad in my prayers🙏🏼
I always enjoy your channel. Family is number one and you should never feel bad about asking for help. I look forward to seeing more of your channel. Good luck to you and your family.
I can totally understand and relate , myself and my sister have come to that stage where our parents need help and we don’t think twice… you are a loving and caring daughter xx wishing you all the love
Not ridiculous at all. Very honest and sweet of you to help your Dad ❤ I understand where you're coming from because I had to so the same thing! I also had a red Honda civic and I loved it too but my husband is a disabled vet and also needed a vehicle to easily get in and out of. Much love ❤️ ❤❤
So awesome u r helping your dad! U r truly blessed to still have your parents. They r blessed to have u too! ❤❤ your dad will be fine with your help!! ❤❤
I have watched a lot of your tutorials in the past and they have helped me out of a knitting bind> It is a pleasure to support you in your hour of need. You are making a difference to both your father and your You Tube audience. Keep on doing what you're doing and good luck! xx
Hey! Good to see you! Please don't apologize on having to come on and ask like you did. Life happens. We are a community here on UA-cam! We/I am here for you. Your dad is blessed to have you. I will happily share your channel on mine and I will watch as you post! Take Care!
Love your channel. Bless you for taking care of your dad. My aunt had a stroke and is in a nursing home, however I still am there taking care of her. I know what you’re going thru. If I could have hired a nurse for 24 hr care I would have kept her at my house, unfortunately I still have to work for 7 more years. You’re a blessing to your parents! Please keep in touch and if you ever need to talk please don’t hesitate to ask me..I’m here for you. Take care! Are you on instagram? If so put it in the contents of this video. 😘
You are doing for your parents exactly what I would do too. I love your videos! They are so helpful. I am stuck on a pattern and would love to finish this project at some point, but I did put it up for maybe 5 years or more at this point. 😕
🤗 I’ll watch whatever you put out. I find your teaching to be very suitable for me. I learned a lot from you. ❤ good luck with your dad! You are lucky to have both of your parents.❤
Funny I just this week started watching your videos again. I watched the ten stitch blanket videos. Maybe you can make crochet stitch videos. Like a square for each stitch. Then one day join those squares to make a blanket for your dad .❤
I’m sorry about your dad’s health. I can relate. Take good care of your dad. It’s very sweet and kind you are doing this for him. I really enjoy your videos. I will help you as much as possible. God bless ❤gayle
You are such an amazing daughter. That is true love there. I pray in Jesus' name that God rains blessings upon you and your family. You have helped the knitting and crochet community so much. It feels nice to find a way to help you back. Sending love and prayers your way💜💜💜
Actually I learned a lot from your videos. You explain things well! Thank you for your honest sharing, I hope you will flow into a healthy, wealthy, happy space soon! Greetings from Hungary.
Hi Charlotte. I will definitely do my best. It’s been almost 8 months since I lost my husband to cancer and I’ve struggled to even pick up a hook, needle or even watch videos. But that is changing for the better. I took care of him so I understand. God bless. ❤
I feel for you! I also need a different vehicle so my husband can get in and out better, he had a stroke and what I have is to tall for him. Good Luck! I enjoy watching you! 😄
Why would anyone leave a nasty comment? I have nothing but praise for you. Your videos are excellent, and I'm more than happy to help get the algorithms up. x
Just suggestions on videos. You could not only do knitting and crochet but maybe car vlogs...garden videos. No matter what you show us on here WE WILL all watch to support you. Thanks for sharing. XO
I’m sorry I can’t help in any other way but I will watch your videos and comment, like and whatever else I can do. We had an awful summer with my husband being in and out of hospital. My business suffered, I am starting school, I got a laser to hopefully create some things with and help pay for some of the expenses. Just when we thought my husband’s health is now ok, his BP spiked up and he will probably need more medications… and that’s just a part of what was/ is happening. Take care of yourself, hopefully you have someone who can help you when you feel down. If not, I will always listen.
I’m sorry to hear that… watching my videos whenever you can is plenty enough help for me… I hope your situation turns around and things start getting better for you… ❤️
Many blessings to you ❇️❇️ new sub Picking up knitting has been helping me work and family stress and raising teen son. Please more beginner knit 🧶 tutorials series or suggestions for holiday gifts and I don’t know why I can’t grasp the purl stitch 😑🥴
