hi ma'am i an not that expert but my suggestion is to learn latest technology and join company based on that tech........and as a fresher it will be hard to find remote job....first find a job related to your career chosen and than after experience and learning you can find remote job.........and yes you can come in tech field from any other department you just need proper skill and knowledge.....☺
