Trekking the Himalayas of Nepal Alone in Winter
Here's Part 2: ua-cam.com/video/kLRhuXEEP38/v-deo.html
Yes this kind of work is not easy at all. I know for a fact your excruciating pain enduring cold. And enduring physical pain mental exhaustion of as well it is not easy as people think. Just want to say thank you so much again you inspire me thank you so much keep safe keep strong be inspired.
I don't know why this guy doesn't have at least 1 million subscribers. Gabriel is the most underrated world traveler on UA-cam.
Totally agree!!!!👍😀❤
Agree
He's getting there.
He will get there. He loves traveling with a passion. Gabriel is one of the best in youtube
And if I may add, one of the mellowest people I've seen on video. He loves the solo travel as I do. Awesome Gabe!
Gabriel . Should be awarded as a influencer for Visit nepal 2020. I will recommend him for sure at my best 💓
Absolutely..Gabriel deserves all the love..most genuine guy ❤✌
True. He deserves it for Real. !
100% Gabriel deserves it. I really respect this man from bottom of my heart.
Nepal government should be award to gabriel and prmot to visit nepal 2020 international
its amazing how simply they live and the woman running after you because she thought you left your camera ...it shows the honesty that she had ... hope she is alive ...outstanding video and so interesting
Himalayas is literally closest thing to heaven.
Beautiful place beautiful people.
Gabriel I’ve been missing the Himalayas for a long time but now that I saw your video, I just can’t not book a flight back to Nepal. Thank you so much for the inspiration! ❤️🙏
Right on Jacob, you can't go wrong. Which trek do you think you would do? I forget which ones you did before. There are some other ones in the Langtang area that look really amazing, south of the one I did, Gosaikunda and Helambu. You could spend a while in that area. How's the editing going? Looking forward to all those vids man, I know they're going to be good.
As you demonstrate in this video, off-season traveling is best!
7:51 I like how Gabe can talk robotically in almost any language.
robots get good room, yes?
@@roberthayes2027 ahahahaha
Great this is the Gabriel traveler I prefer. Alone and full of adventure.
alone and full of fears.... that what travel is.... running away from yourself and ONE place you cant make paradise...
@@danielboomers For me it's exploring the World and having exotic adventures; I crave both. No tears, in fact I get depressed when I don't.
@@andthereisntone3454 yep inner fears and cant make home paradise... been there done this... always run away from myself... took me a while to figure that out... today iam laughing at myself... a beach is a beach.. a tree is a tree...
@@danielboomers Apparently you are assuming that _all_ urges to explore parts of the World far from home are based on "running away" from oneself. I think you are mistaken.
@@andthereisntone3454 discover the real you and be amazed... see and id all fears that running in your mind and everything becomes very clear...good luck on this journey... not many people will make it at their first try...hehe
You’re an incredible man Gabriel I have front row seat in my warm Canadian home and you have history on this video and should be in libraries for educational purposes.. stay warm and happy 2020 new year
Gabriel, this is truly unbelievably beautiful and rugged. You don't appear to be affected by the altitude or are you feeling it more than it looks. A little over 9,500 ft. starts making me feel light headed. Wishing you a safe & Happy 2020. Thank you for your super videos. You're the best & most interesting.Wonder what the two large groups of villagers were doing with all the smoke & the other, ladies in a large circle?😊
@@marthaworthington6060 I wonder too
@@marthaworthington6060 That looked like a community feast to me
@@Saurav_prakash The villagers probably do gather often for "cookouts" as well as "projects" due to their isolation and limited resources. Must be a source of support & camaraderie. They do seem very resourceful as well as welcoming to trekkers who hardly acknowledge fellow trekkers as they pass each other. Happy New Year to all you fellow Gabriel followers!! 😊 Where to next Gabriel, some R & R? God Speed!
Gabriel it’s very nice of you to pay extra to the guest house. I have seen your other videos in the Kathmandu. You always seem polite , understanding and never barter aggressively.
That's incredible. Stay warm and safe man.
Froze my butt off, but I survived to tell the tale.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos how cold was it?
@@tomwhelan7447 Not sure because I didn't have phone service so I wasn't checking. My only gauge was the snow and ice outside in the morning telling me it was pretty darned cold. But as you'll see in the next episodes it was a little warmer in the lower elevations. I was hiking shirtless a couple times because I was overheating.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos funny people in the cities tend to go pants less when overheating! LoL
@Tom Whelan: Google says tonight it is minus eleven degrees daytime is minus three. Not bad. Bearable with warm clothes.
I din't know how my tear came seen this vedio.
one day we all living creaturs are pass away but its so difficulty.
Rest in peace who lost their life 2015 earthquake !
You are so humble and genius gabrial keep it up !

Yooooo that memorial! My friend from Malaysia Raj! 😢 ive forwarded this to people close to him. Thank u for this video.
Thank you so much Gabrielle for loving and visiting Nepal again and again.

best wishes from Latvia! stay warm!
Krišjānis Beļavskis Hello Latvia 🇱🇻 the global warming has reached Latvia too 😟
Thank you Gabriel for showing my hotel Memorial Guest House
I m the owner of the guest house,Nima lama ♥️
Great, it was a really nice place, had a good stay and I definitely recommend it.
Man... Gabriel. I just love the way of your raw and pure videos.
No fancy instagram selfy fashion shots.
No party making "woohoo yeah" music clip like.
Just the view, the impressions, the sound of your boot steps and the wind.
Feeling like a travel mate of you.
Thank you for that.
And take care.
Its saddens me to see all that rubble covering the langtang village. I was there before earthquake and met some really good people there. It still is one of my best treks so far. ❤️
the travel you do is inspirational
You are legend for showing the hidden gem to the whole world. Love you gabriel
Beautiful scenery. Very sad for all the lives lost in the avalanche.
Hope to visit someday
Thank you all the commentaries for your love & positive vibes to Nepal . May all yours beloved people live long . Thank you Gabriel .❤️❤️
Love the Himalayas - so beautiful
My guide told me eating yak cheese and drinking yak milk will give you their strength. Down the hatch Gabe!
Scenery reminds me of Seven Years in Tibet. The book is incredible

Nepal looks incredible. So sad & eerie seeing the town before and after the landslide. Spooky
How beautiful clear and bright it is, the sky is so blue, the yaks are so big and furry, what an adventure this is.

That is really sad what happened to Lang Tang. The video footage that was shown from 2014 was actually the first video I ever saw with Gabriel. This really reminds me that life can be taken away at any moment and we should appreciate the positive experiences that we do have and try to make each day count.
"Not a cloud in the sky" - Gabriel Traveler.
I've probably seen this 3 times but what I love the most is the chant of " Omm ma'ne pot'ma ommm" I have now incorporated it into my yoga routine. Namaste 🙏 I really appreciate the hard work these village ppl do to make tourists stay enjoyable and in such a harsh environment. Happy trekking my friend until next time.✌
I can see this mountain from my home !!
The light is amazing. So bright.
Thanks for taking me on this journey...you just keep trekking and love all the positive vibes..
😍
Nice vlog. Thankyou for keeping the memories alive of those lost. Most of us would of never realized what happened.
Can't wait to watch!
more classic Gabe stuff. love it!
Gabriel is A Legend, lots of blessings and a Happy New year 2020.
Hey there! it gets so cold in the winter that even the organized treks are closed but you my man are something else, no matter what the conditions are you still take it head on, respect!!
Super amazing. Heartly welcome Gabriel
Touching and awe inspiring as well
You're an honest ytube traveler for sure; you show things as they are. No editing, no crap. This video is of your best. Moving in many ways. Thanks a lot!!
The landslide buried the entire village? Wow that’s sad
where have you being for so long ?
Yes! One of my uncle was among the thousands of casualties
Ya Crazy.. who k nows how many Thousands
@@horseplop9 10,000 people
It certainly is sad. Over 400 people died in Langtang village. see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Langtang,_Rasuwa

Hyolmo are tivetan origin people living in mostly helambu area and some part of langtang, nuwakot etc
