Question mate, im pretty new to squid fishing.. do you bag up the squid while it was alive for a reason? Do they not keep as well afterwards being stunned?

They went straight into an esky on ice that kills them pretty quick. Not as quick as a karate chop or ikipik, but a lot less mess all over the boat.
