I just got my Momento Zero and unfortunately I seem to have gotten a rare flawed nib, writes semi dry with skips every few words (pretty sure the tines are too close together). Really love the pen though so will be exchanging it rather than returning
I normally like cigar shaped pens but I like the Momento Zero better in this case. My husband has asked me what kind of pens I like and I just have to tell him that it varies depending on the maker.
Cracking me up with your comments about your handwriting, cuz I just love your handwriting! Always a pleasure to watch you write anything - hello jello!
Their internals are identical? nib/feed unit? I think the difference only in the pen shape. p.s. I ordered Furore because I like more cigar-shaped with rounded ends
My experience with my Momento Zero (M steel) is like yours: absolutely flawless, very wet and almost a broad nib. Thanks for showing the Leonardo ink too, it is stunning!
Bock nibs amazingly nice to write with in whatever incarnation you find them. Additionally to this it is said that Leonardo custom tunes them too. I'll also go for the momento zero too :-) PS: @gourmetpens are these the standard or the Grande models ?
I haven't tried them yet, because they are only to order online. I love very smooth nibs that have no flex. I usually go with the broad nib because of smoothness. Now here the broad steel nib seems to have flex - maybe the M is less flexible? Also gold nibs usually have more flex, how is it here? I cannot find out via research: Which is the smoothest nib without flex ...? Someone?
Thank you so much for making this video! Love seeing the differences in model and nib size; not to mention the great commentary. Cheers!😊

Momento has the word me in it, and to paraphrase Cookie Monster from Sesame Street, "Me want fountain pen!" Thanks for your presentation.
I'm okay with this association! Fountain pen AND cookie!
What is the blue ink used in the last Leonardo furore?
Very helpful. Thanks!
You're welcome!
what's the name of the ink you are using in the gold emerald that is a mix of light and dark blue? its beautiful!
Would you buy this pen or a Nakaya or a Lamy 2000?
You have a strange way of communicating with your significant other, I must say. 😏

Yes, I agree with you. I, too, like cigar shaped pens but rounded, like the Mont Blanc 149. For me the furore is a bit too pointy.

Wonderful job of comparing the nibs, very helpful and enjoyable. Great work👍👍👍👍👍

In helping me decide..... I decided I want them all!

Both are the regular size :)
@@gourmetpens thank you :-)
What's the steel stub inked with? (Thanks for the video!)
Also when can we see you test the Leonardo Music nib!?
I will hopefully get a review unit of the Leonardo soon! The blue ink is Leonardo's Blue - and it's gorgeous!
@@gourmetpens thanks! Can't wait!
Does the stub have zero tipping?
the steel stub is untipped

The Leonardo steel nibs are great. Neither the steel or gold are flexible, though. If you want a nice smooth with no flex, try the steel broad!
Which Leonardo comes with ebonite feed
The Grande size does as well as the regular sizes when you get the gold nib upgrade.
I just bought a momento zero and it hard starts :(
Love the video, you made up my mind and i adored the inky little fingers...:)
I'm a little confused. Do ALL of the Leonardo pens have an ebonite feed (Momento Zero, Furore and MZ Grande)?
No, only some do. I think it's the ones with the gold nibs, as far as I can tell, but the retailer should have that info listed with the model :)
