      Actually it is not necessary to do that because some University degrees are accepted by the Bar Council of India. So, you can study abroad, then come back and give an exam and begin practicing.

  • @aaronwetkins
    @aaronwetkins 5 років тому

    Sir I think your video isn't addressing the most basic point of getting an LLM from Abroad.
    Which is that people go for LLM in UK/USA to work there rather than come back to India.
    Suppose I go to UK for LLM in Oxford/Cambridge/UCL/LSE/QueensMarry then what I get is high chances to get by top tier magic circle firms like Linklaters, Clifford Chance, Allen and Overy, Herbert Smith etc. because these firms hire very few directly from India but hire more from Top UK University.
    Ofcourse they are going to pay me for a GDL course.
    What's your viewpoint on this?

    • @TLOIAcademy
      @TLOIAcademy  5 років тому +1

      I am addressing the countless who come back. Know a few hundred who landed back in Delhi and have expensive degrees around their necks and earning peanuts.
      So "most" people -- our perspective differs.
      If you can get into the top universities like you mentioned, please go ahead. No problem.
      And every video can't cater to everyone. My set of audience is different than the one that you have raised :)
      Cheers

    Sir same difference between darbhanga government law college and du clc. Means exposure in du societies and other things, but how will help it for litigation, i know many lawyer in jabalpur high court who is pass out Bangalore nlsui and pune nlu but they are use less. And normal student ajeet singh is a famous lawyer who did complete their llb in glc college rewa. he appeared in almost 180 wp every year and bail appeal also. 15 year of experience him, and other hand nlsui student from rewa useless and frud madar.... then i pray to high court for change in council. So i learnt that practice hard working is important not college. But another scene where du or nlu Delhi student amish aggrwal is famous nowadays in district court delhi as well as high court, and du law faculty also invited him for many occasions. Sir therefore i disagree with you because llm from abroad can be change student personality, standard and other things.

    • @TLOIAcademy

      To tell you honestly, since I don't know anyone with this scenario - I can't comment. But imagine going to a law firm there and having to explain that NALSAR is the top law school of India etc etc - that zing vanishes.
      Whereas in India - you say NALSAR - the corporate law firm (not litigation) will treat you to a beer or something.
      You will need to get equivalence

    for the LLB 3 or 5 yrs course in india , they teach indian law , we can understand but for the master or pg degree which is LLM suggested for the master in any specific subject just like environmental law, cyber law , human rights etc it will be globally or similarly for the any country or for the world , so its just like u r example brain , lever etc , i must say if anybody wants to pursue the study in abroad , it should be for specific , just like students are different with the view , london school of economics , indian economy & british economy is different , but still students are the pursue the study there in abroad to better prospects ,
    thats why LLB is the academic prospective to learn the constitution of the country but LLM is the master degress which is more subjective so its better to learn with broad prospect ,stay there for more researchfull activity or practices

    • @TLOIAcademy
      @TLOIAcademy  5 років тому

      BCI takes the license exam based on LL.B.
      You will only need AIU certificate in case if you wish to join the govt and show your LL.M. as a degree etc.
      Since you will be full time student, getting the certificate shouldn't be a problem BUT do make sure to get everything in writing before hand.

      2. How to contact AIU ?

      @TLOIAcademy  5 років тому +2

      1 - yes, also check with bci
      2 - Google their website out, contact info will be there. They don't respond over phone etc, better pay a visit
      3 -- their certificate doesn't matter in the private sector
