U of A: Ultra academics. Best for Post-grads and lifetime education. ASU: Very practical. Best for getting a job.. in Phoenix, which is half of Arizona. NAU: Speciality crafts. Forestry, tourism, and other things you eventually need.
I went to NAU and you can go to snowbowl even for just a sunset lookout of the mountains, there’s another lookout of the whole city, mall does suck but Greek life is pretty dominated since it’s a smaller town but the most chill, genuine people ever! By my senior year it’s like everybody knew everyone and it was a huge party- I miss it everyday
I'm a Wal-Mart associate out of Arkansas who's taking advantage of their fully paid Guild program for my four year degree. I chose the UofA Cyber Operations BAS, online of course. I'm pretty excited to be a Wildcat and I hear their Cyber Operations is highly touted. Loved the video and subbed!
I'm from California and NAU recruited *hard* in my mailbox and at all the college/career fairs in my hometown. Wanted to see what all the hype was about lol. A couple of my friends went. I actually got into ASU but I chose to stay in state.
that's awesome! you should look into the requirements for getting into grad school for the schools you're interested in and then see what's the best school for your major!
You guys together is hilarious 😂 I'll be applying the UofA's honors college this year, but I haven't heard much about it. Do you know how difficult it is to get accepted?
I will arrive to Tucson next week to UA I will stay in Gila any thoughts or something I should know? Also how are international students in there as I am one.
gila is a great dorm! it is the exact same layout as Yuma, which i did a dorm tour in if you wanna check that out to see what it looks like! also there are tons of international students there and i believe there are lots of clubs and opportunities for international students!
I love U of A. I got my MS in ECE at U of A in 2019 after going back to U of A in middle-age via online options. I also have an MS in Bioengineering from ASU from decades ago. Now, I am back at ASU for a PhD. Modern Tempe has really changed. As an older, moderately conservative graduate student working full-time, I noticed Tempe is very liberal and far-left like the SF Bay Area now. I feel out-of-place in modern Tempe. I feel much better at U of A as a moderately conservative guy from rural AZ. It's ironic because in childhood I was a hard core ASU guy but the place has really changed - it seems more like an extension of liberal California now rather than a comfort zone for rural Arizonans which it had once been.
Harmony hey so basically I got an email selected for using the Personal Advantage Application where it allows for a two week admission decision and automatic scholarship ship consideration. It did not come with a application fee waiver but they were kind enough to send me one when I personally asked. Two weeks after my application I got my acceptance letter and their scholarship consideration review where they offered me the $20,000 and same tuition rate for all 4 years. I was surprised because I’m not exactly a 4.0 gpa student so I didn’t expect much money. Just sign up for their mailing list, maybe reach out, and apply when you’re ready. Good luck! Feel free to ask anymore questions.
Harmony I think if you just reflect who you are and your interests you got it! I had a 3.42 when I applied and still got the scholarship. B’s and A’s in core classes. I think it was my extracurriculars that got me in. Well now I have a 3.5 but you get the jist.
sydnee (from the video) said they do not look at ACT scores, and none of the AZ colleges are looking at the ACT/SAT scores for this year bc of covid restriction! hope this helps!
@@TalanaJordan Thank you, hope I get to go there at U of A next year. I really like music so that'a why I wanted to know if U of A is a good place to major in music. 😁
@@AyushKumar-ot9hf I have master's degrees from both ASU and U of A. The international students at ASU have been hit hard by the rapidly rising costs of apartments. The academics for computer science are very strong at ASU. But the housing cost is very harsh for apartments. Tucson is relatively less expensive - so your resources will stretch further in terms of housing costs. The cost of living has generally gone up in Phoenix. As for academic, both ASU and U of A are very strong for computer science. For job market strategies, be sure to study cloud computing, REST, AWS lambdas, databases, mobile apps, full-stack programming, artificial intelligence, etc. Both schools are rigorous with many international students. I just noticed that the housing costs have really overwhelmed international students lately - especially in Tempe.
to the best of my knowledge yes!! there are tons of international students there who seem to enjoy it, there's also lots of clubs that might introduce you to other international students as well!
Hope you enjoyed! Please make sure tp subscribe for more college advice!💗

I got selected from NAU as well as U of A 😁, but really confused right know, which one should I choose 🥺.
i would recommend U of A! :)
ASU use to have family housing on east campus
nau gave me a scholarship but i live in tucson so i’m not sure if i should go to nau or u of a
I recommend going wherever you get the best scholarship! they're all very similar schools!
It's either gcu,u of a,or nau for me.
all good choices!! thanks for watching!
Do you know if NAU will be looking for both ACT and SAT scores or will they look at just one of those two?
most schools look at your best score of the two! this year (due to covid) all the az schools do not require test scores but they still accept them!
Hmm I like how the video is straight forward 🤔😂
thank you hahah
if I went to community college to get some classes done, then went to u of a for my bachelors, would i still get the 2k for freshmen?
to the best of my knowledge i do not think you will get the 2k for freshman; however I think there is a transfer student scholarship :)
There’s a transfer program here called UA Bridge. They have exclusive scholarships and grants for CC transfers :)
