I played the alpha, but then when I went to play it again years later my save data had been deleted :C. I had a really cool tankard you can’t get anymore, too..

Met a few good lads that I’ve since met irl. This game is solely based on the unlocking/achieving of cosmetics and the best are lost behind things that either cost £1000’s in real life, no longer exist (arena) or were time limited. So yeah, I regret not knowing about it from day one because of that, all they release nowadays are fish costumes. It was all so much better back then
I usually use the bone crusher figurehead with the obsidian captan and the golden skull sails from the 2019 Black Friday purchase and then whatever cannons and wheel I can find to match

I can totally relate to wanting an exclusive ship. Sadly all I have are the Festival of the Damned Sails and the Golden Sailor Cannons. (I mean, unless you count the Halo or Gears sets.)
I still have the brave vanguard code because i got the code but never wanted go redeem it because i never thought i would play sot so much and now i can either sell it, redeem it or trade it and i want to trade it for the ferryman pack bc it’s the best set i’ve ever seen
@@lauxd8605 If you really don’t want the founder pack(for whatever reason) you might as well sell it to get yourself a ferryman pack. You won’t reply find people sitting on ferryman codes that aren’t already for sale.
I wish they'd re-release the Wandering Reaper set (keep the title exclusive) to be obtainable via getting every single Rag and Bone Crate commendation. The same for the Bone Crusher stuff behind the Legend of the Sea of Thieves commendation.
@@SweetSandman88 I’m not even asking for all year one and two stuff. There are just things that I feel should come back. The Wandering Reaper set would be perfect as a reward for all of the Rag and Bone commendations, start giving cosmetics to commendations that don’t have any rewards yet.

The Pirate Legend Curse I think is still obtainable. My friends and I tried grinding for it in season 1 but failed to get it. After a while, however, I maxed out my merchant rep and then the next thing I knew, I had the curse right there. It may be a glitch, but I know for a fact I did not get it in season 1 when it was available
if you earn a PL reward in a season but arn't PL yet , the game remembers and rewards it when you hit PL. rare said they were doing this in a stream during s1 so that players don't miss out on paid plunder pass items just because of PL progress.

I had a account issue when I played in the pre launch stuff so my alpha sails are on an account I don't use. I do however have have the ferryman set and I still use the sword and pistol from that set more than any other.
I got the legend curse after the first season somehow. I had gotten pirate legend after the season ended. during the second season, near the end it just popped in my inventory.
Because you had the curse unlocked by completing the first season, but technically weren't allowed to wear it until you hit pirate legend. A couple of my friends had the same thing happen.
So far every instance of someone getting this after season 1 is exactly as the previous comment stated: You got to level 100 renown in season 1, therefore you unlocked the cosmetic the moment you hit pirate legend. This is how all pirate legend cosmetics work.

@@vogel3950 Your renown level each season is actually a permanant flag you have on the account, so your still 100 renown in season 1 in season 3. That's why it allows you to unlock sails or curses for PL at the end of 1 and 2 later on.
Got the Ferryman set and controller when I preordered back in beta. I knew this game was gonna be great so I paid $80 for it. Shoulda held on to that code though…. I had no idea that it would be worth so much later on…. 🏴☠️☠️🏴☠️
There is two things i do not have... the ferryman stuff and the vanguard stuff but i mean the rest i all have guess i'm pretty special haha. Also kind of a veteran

Whenever it shows you leaning up against the post and you do commentary over that in the beginning of most of your videos you have the order of souls curse though
I hate limited time cosmetics lol it's cool for those that have them but I prefer the "long grind" stuff that is still exclusive to small numbers of players but not impossible to get. Maybe a video on those kinds of things that look good in a set would be nice

Not hating, but I laughed out loud when I heard you say you like to look different and stand out from the crowd. Your character looks practically indistinguishable from any of the other skinny dark-haired pirates so common to this game, and if you hadn't pointed it out, I would have guessed you were wearing some generic clothes and tats as well.

My Brave Vanguard is the biggest flex I have
the only thing I can flex is the cpt bones cutless and the ebon pistol
