- How to carpet a subwoofer box. Get your subwoofer finish in less than 20 minute. Tip: Buy a lint-free carpet. Better for working and even better results. See the finished result at the end of the video.
Your video gave me inspiration to just start. Big up man.
Carpeting has always been a weakness of mine. This made it look easy.
Perfect example of working within your skill level. For anyone that thinks it's bad.... Have you ever seen the work on any mass produced Amazon or eBay prefab box? Keep up the good work bro.
Not bad, really good effort. Practice makes perfect
I'm not going to be a hater at least you gave it a shot you took the time to do it keep practicing it's kind of like wrapping a present you get better every time never get worse always better
Nice
You’re supposed to let contact spray adhesive get tacky for 30-45 seconds before sticking 2 pieces together
Good job bro
ould love to do this where would I get the carpet from????? plz get back to me looking to do this asap thank you in advance
rustic , but it is understood , thanks brother , projecting the idea, i like!!!
Really good work for exemple!
Nice work. Saving. Lebor work Money
Looks good enough. Serves the purpose

What is the name of this ispre
What is that spray adhesive your using called anyone know what to use?

Buatkan box salon yang 2 radioya...
What size is the carpet?
i think this was a really good job. Imo.

Super 👍
I think you did a good job overall with the carpeting, but I noticed your sub enclosure has no internal bracing. You lose a lot of sound energy when the large flat panels of your enclosure are allowed to flex.
gulu link plz
anyone know what that spray glue is called???
Contact cement
Freddy Kreuger & Wolverine battled on the sides of the box lol!! Great video though!! Luckily that can of adhesive didn't burst because that would've been a fucking disaster..
Not the best wrap but Not the worse
WHAT IS THIS ADHESIVE CALLED? I want to buy it
Bro .. wo glue spry ke bare me bataye .. reply me ..
Hii
I was waiting for you to throw the sub box 🤣😂
Good job bro.... Im waiting to see the box in the air
Hey bro where did you buy the sub carpet ?
I needed a box for 2 pour 12 inches and I know its size, its design and size, please respond
What is the brand of the carpet?
Looks good tho
If you threw the bass box in the same way as the other items then I would have literally pissed myself laughing 3😂😭
I literally came to the comments to make sure I wasn't the only one thinking this lol
Was waiting for the box fell from the air
Me too .lol.
Me too .lol.
Nice work. Would this method work for marine vinyl?
You're asking this kid, who clearly is not a professional, about marine vinyl?
@@mikeadler8239 I just asked a fellow UA-camr a question. I don't seek professional help on UA-cam.
I love this
Where'd you get the carpet in a bag from
Raed Kader silvan Ribe
Things started falling, save the sub-woofer box. Nice attempt.
Comment Karne Walon Ko Buddhi Rahega tab to samjhenge very nice job

Ye kambal kaha milta hai kripya bataye
OMG
what name this gulu
What about shag carpet
I know this is an old vid but what are the subs?
It’s Resonant Engineering RE8 subwoofers 👍🏻
Fuckin jezus thats ruff...
Boleh dong tanya gan
MUAH
jise chipka rh ho uska name sir ji...
You and I are different. My OCD was raging man I could barely watch this vid. Even your ends were mismatching. Pick rounded or x and do both that way omg that was brutal. Hey man... You don't have a yardstick? Straight cuts are a thing.
Better yet incoorporate a groove in the wood to make the cuts and hide the ends. A 1/8" deep cut half an inch inside the perimeter of your ends would hide all that nonsense. Nice big endpiece.
To me this is a "how to do it like a tweaker" video...just being real.
I felt the same way with my OCD. I could barely watch it
Lotsa OCD in this industry. Lol. Including myself. I prefer measured triangles versus random scallops myself. It didn't turn out too bad.
Tip: Use actual sub box carpet.
Correct ... using felt will give u bad results
I know where he baught it and that is real sub box carpet

@@gauterosland3721 Biltema is very bad quality.
@@mariuss9712 Biltema is actually not that bad quality, i would say that you get what you pay for, me an my dad byes everything there and we have no problems with the products
@@gauterosland3721 I'm talking about the carpet from Biltema, not the store itself. And yes, you get what you pay for. And the carpet from Biltema is very bottom shelf compared to other high quality brands. :-)
Cómo se pide le pegamento
Sorry to be that guy, but that wrapping job was terrible smh...
This was not the best performing job I've done. Sorry for that Brian ^^
If the carpet was off a better quality, it had become easier. This carpet was shit to work with.
The principle of the job is still the same. But in the end it is better to have a subwoofer finish, than no finish right ;)
I agree titus41, I came here for an insight and left with ideas. You got the message across.
Ibalibag daw ba ang mga gagamiting pang cover hindi perfect gumawa
hoooiiii
Why carpet when bed liner is stronger and black
Killo seria la última persona q llamaría para tapizar un subwoofer...... que mal lo cortas
Jak byś przeczytał instrukcję obsługi kleju to byś wiedział że źle robisz.
Sorry man but that's a horrible wrap job. Should have used the correct carpet . I see bubbles and where all the seems are even in the fast motion.
Hate to say it but that looks like shillz
Ramutu
Unprofessional fellow. wasted carpet cloth. It can be used for two
chuine
you wasted a lot of carpet and gum
A subwoofer box that is not carpeted will actually make very loud rattling sounds carpet is designed to act as a sound dampener if you choose not to carpet your subwoofer box then you will have to consider using polyfill inside the subwoofer box to eliminate rattling sounds
Absolutely everything you said is incorrect. WOW. I love the way misinformation is just tossed around as fact. First, carpeting a sub box is purely aesthetic and provides no benefit to the sound quality. Second, polyfill inside the box is absolutely, not ever, used to eliminate "rattling sounds." Polyfill is used to slow soundwaves as they pass through it giving the impression of a larger enclosure. Educate yourself before contaminate the world with more stupidity.
Don't know either of you but i know Enclosures.....
Michael is %100 CORRECT.
@@mikeadler8239 I had mild stroke when I read his comment. Thanks for saying what I would have said ...but without the profanity. Lmao 🤣
Not true, only way it will do that is maybe if its poorly built ive for ever used non carpet boxes painted boxes stained boxes and not ever have a gotten rattle or noises from the box itself but then again i double wall absolute everything all my boxes are inch and a half thick all around baffles sometimes even more deoending on subs so not true carpet is not a need its for looks to me
Splendidly to see Woodglut have new plans which helped me save some money and energy for this construction.
If you want to build it you can find nice instructions on the Stodoys website.
Thank's to share that but if you dont care about how look its can, ok if you care about how look can be, you didn't made good job man.... maybe its your first time...
I hope you didn't make that box either if you did then you got lots of progressing to make
Don't waste the material
o acabamento não ficou legal
um acabamento é melhor do que nenhum acabamento
totally mesh..................................
The sides were sloppy!!👎
My 5 year old coulda wrapped that much better. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Boros kain
He tried al least.... Next time watch an instructional video on youtube BEFORE YOU DO SOMETHING YOU HAVE NEVER DONE...
Idiot
under 20 minutes? video is 6:50.
Yeah, this was a really bad job.. Do again, do right...
Looks good tho
