They don't "suck", particularly. They just have to set them up for the maximum possible load they could ever need to handle. Riding solo they are, therefore, rock hard.
love the look of them without springs,..but question not being able to adjust in any way and also how he mentions sacrificing some handling, i know Ohlins are twice the price, but they are fully adjustable and the pinnacle of shocks
Well it comes down to personal taste. Unless you take a passenger most people won't need adjustable suspension anyway. Most bikers I know don't even mess with preload, even those who ride regularly with a passenger. If you want to spend twice as much the Ohlins will probably be better. Otherwise, for most people and their needs the Bullits are enough. It all comes down to riding style and money.
Unfortunately the K-Tech Bullets have been discontinued. You can still get the Razor and Razor Light shocks though. Not sure where in the US sells them but if you look on the K-Tech website I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction (or possibly even do a direct sale International shipping).
In this video I was wearing Forma Short Adventure Boots but with a metal heel stuck on it. I had worn my boots down so much from riding the Scout that I went to a cobblers and they inserted a metal heel blank to slow down how fast my rubber heels was being shredded by the asphalt 👍
Dazzle Яebel Rides wow, that a good idea. I‘m sure there are kits to move the position of the pegs so you could look into something like that. Ride safe!
These aren't the Razors which you can get different springs on, they're the gas-fed Bullits. Personally I prefer them to stock but it's each to their own 👍
You could try Saltire Motorcycles to see if they have any stock. HBC Motorcycles have a set of Gold K-Tech bullets on ebay. Moore Speed Racing might have some too. 👍

I am very happy with my KTech rear shocks and they have great customer service
I am very impressed with them. Quality gear.
I'm surprised on how little the factory shock travel is.
About 1" crazy!
I saw you scrapping your heel! Great camera position. Shocks are taking it! I'm looking for the adjustment ring? Available across the pond?
They have international shipping. If you want adjustment you'll need to look at the K-Tech Razors or Razor Lites.
Great video, I have been thinking about new shocks to help with the ride.
The K-Tech bullits are certainly worth checking out. If I owned a Bobber I would switch to them 👍
Love my ktech Bullits! Nice vid
Cheers 👍
Let the sparks fly. Great camera angles
Cheers!
The old thumb measure. I’ll have to implement this new system of measurement in my videos.
😂👍
Combine that with the new Indian Scout Bobber comfort seat and it’s ready for long range.
Absolutely 🖒
Mmmm Christmas is coming. I think I might buy myself a present 😂
just subbed. good reviewer.
Thanks! I'm busy with a lot of other stuff at the moment but there will be more reviews coming 👍

What boots were you wearing? Looked good when you scraped the heel.

Wonder why they were discontinued. I was interested in these for my Bobber.
I don't know, shame is it
You mention them feeling softer or less sporting than stock, did you get the proper springs installed for your weight??
These aren't the Razors which you can get different springs on, they're the gas-fed Bullits. Personally I prefer them to stock but it's each to their own 👍
@@RebelRides If you order these through Revzilla, they ask you what weight you're carrying...
Tracey Hewes Bullit shocks don’t have springs
With having more travel do these rise up the rear end also any clearance issues with the fender?
It looks to raise slightly. No issues with clearance.
How do they feel with one on the back ?
I don't know, no pillion seat on this bike.
How would this shocks compare against the Progressive 444 or similar products?
I haven't tried those so I couldn’t say for sure.
Out of stock aarrgh!!!
Are you based in the UK?
@@RebelRides yeah Scotland
