You guys make the best repair/maintenance videos on UA-cam! They have been so helpful to me on numerous occasions. 1A Auto has great products at great prices, as well. Its all greatly appreciated from me! Keep up the good work!
+Dustin Smith Thank you!
Make sure to go for a ride with a lot of turns after so you can get your diff into the new fluid after.
Was this an open differential or a limited slip? I have a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder Se 4x4 and I just wanted to know
So I need gear oil and additive? What additives?
I had to drill a hole and use a big bolt extractor to get my rusty fill plug out.
Help please I have a 2002 Nissan extera and the back diff doesn't use a normal half inch drive to take filler and drain ig out any suggestions?
Could you could make a tool?
Thanks guys, appreciated
+Wayne M Thanks for checking us out! 1AAuto.com
Just a curiosity question because i have a 98 pathfinder . If the rear diff ever had to be rebuilt how in the world do you access it with no cover being on it ?
remove it from the front side....like the old Fords
Same follows for an 02 Infiniti QX4?
👍
I have a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder 2wd what diffarental fluid do I use and how to tell if it’s limited slip
+Steven Skiles Thank you for watching! The fluid type can be found in the owner's manual to make sure you get the right fluid. If you are unsure what type of rear end the vehicle has you can call the dealer with your VIN and they should be able to help! 1aauto.com
Could I skip teflon sealer?
+David Hernandez Thank you for your question. It is a recommended step to Place Teflon sealer to the drain plug.
Hi. What kind of oil can I use for my xterra 2004?
Please check your owners manual for that information. Thanks for watching! +Antonio Flores
Does all suvs have diff fluid or just 4x4s? 🥴
All cars
Almost every modern car had a rear differential. The 4x4 also have front differentials. A diff is required to reduce tire wear when going around corners, by allowing the two wheels to turn at different speeds.
@@Embattled5211 No, most modern cars don't have differentials like this at all. Most are FWD and get power by a transaxle, which I guess you could call a 'differential', connected to the transmission. Only 4X4 vehicles have a front and rear differential. Some even have 3 differentials if it's an all time/part-time system.
nice description!!! HOW to change a WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID! LOL (is that on a 4 or 6cyl engine - that's important to windshield fluid!!! hahahaha)
