The Urdu word "Qasid" literally means "messenger". In a philosophical and poetic context, "Qasid" is a metaphor for a lover on a spiritual journey. The lover, like a messenger, seeks a profound connection with the beloved, representing the human soul's quest for spiritual enlightenment and union with the divine. This term captures the essence of love and yearning. And for the lovers in the real world, Qasid is a symbol of the eternal hope of uniting with our beloved, in this world and the next.
