- Опубліковано 20 чер 2023
- I share with you guys how to make a Psychedelic Rock song inspired by Tame Impala's album 'Innerspeaker'. I had been wanting to make one of these for a long while now and finally got around to it. Please don't take tese videos too serious- I'm just having fun, Ya'll. But if you have to take anything from these videos, I hope it's positive. Enjoy!

I FUCKING LOVE TAME IMPALA
Me tooooo🥰
Why on earth?
The vocals feel very similar to Julee Cruise and that's a big compliment, rest in peace
Thank you! I appreciate that
3/4 is one of the signatures I use the most, but because I used to compose lots of waltzs back in the day, no idea it was also used on modern music! Loving the vibe on this one, keep it up man, and don’t be afraid to take your time. It’s ok if we have to wait for longer videos, we won’t leave. Your stuff is worth it 🤜
Nice! Thank you so much for the support. I will be uploading longer form content for exclusive members very soon. I’ll be setting that up this week and giving everyone a heads up on that.🙏🏻
Are 3/4 time signatures usually used for this type of music? Sorry I’m a noob
@@jairoc2425 i think 4/4 is still more commonly used, but you could play with the time signatures.
Psych-rock is really open to using a lot of them in one song.
Sounds great man. Very trippy composition / mix. Continue!
Brilliant guy, funny delivery and very useful information for aspiring musicians. This is great! Keep it up :)
Thank you for the support!

As much as I love the longer videos, these short ones still get to the point.

beauty
Thank you!🙏🏻
A wonderfully creative and authentic atmosphere! Congratz and thank for sharing this
You have a new studio ?
Also, dont you high pass & or low pass your guitars in the mix ?
Thank you, Rodrigo! Yes I’m in a new studio. I love it. Completely different energy. It’s refreshing!
Yes, I usually do a high pass on the guitars
can you make a video about micing (like microphone) up acoustic guitar and recording acoustic tracks?
Do you use the saturation as the fuzz ?
I’d listen to an album of this. Great work buddy :)
Thanks, Raz! I really appreciate that🙏🏻
very nice
Thank you!🙏🏻
You should release this!!!
this is sick man!! what are those chords you're playing in the beginning?
What effects you use on ableton for the guitar and bass?
What bass guitar do you use? Im loving the tone
hey this is amazing man!! any special key, or chords to sound alike?
Thank you, Joaquin! That’s a good question. No specific key for Tame Impala but I do like to throw in Major 7th chords with some fuzz and a phaser effect!
Don't forgot the pot and then forgetting to practice!
“I might have went”? Wow
awesome! may i ask how do you get your guitar and bass so clean i can't hear ANY noise?
Thanks, Frontman! I don’t do anything special to be honest. What kinda noise are you talking about?
@@bananalabs then its probably because of my not so good gear haha. For me(especially with my bass) i have a lot of noise that is in the recordings.FOr my guitar it gets notiable when i use any little amount of distortion, thats also why i never use it since its so loud, was just wondering since your is so clean..
It could be your cables, input jacks. Or even ground connection error on your instruments.
I usually get some noise when I use a fuzz pedal or my phase 90, but you can’t really hear it when I’m playing. And I always roll off the volume before coming in to a part and rolling off. Also, you can minimize noise in post by simply automating the track volume instead of rolling off the volume knobs on your instruments.
@@bananalabs ill try out your tips tysm!!
Pink Floyd
pause??
Yes.
Sounds like pipe eye
chords?
Nah don't need em! Just push your fingers on there and turn up the phaser bro!
no more 🤙
would be great if you talk a bit for free about the arrangement :))
Your main riff, is that in standard tuning?
The more out of time and more out of sync or tune it is the more psychedelia it is
Like if you take LSD and then record yourself playing then its psychedelia
Otherwise its just pretending to be psychedelic
I should’ve titled the video “How to Make Fake Psychedelic Rock”
Or you just can make trippy songs being a healthy person.
Dude wtf 😅😅😅
@@ijoeldiavlo4871 You are presuming that everyone is the same, they are not, there are two different humans, one human takes LSD and experiences a pointless show , that they know is teaching them something but they will never grasp what , in fact compared to the second human nothing happens at all, The second human its the most important medication in thier existence and they need the music to be a specific way for the medication to teach everything that human needs to know
FYI
Hence why I educate the people who are playing and completely getting the wrong end of the stick and preventing those that need it, from getting it , because of thier misconceptions
