Love your videos and your presentation of them. That red machine in the house is a cream separator and the machine with the teeth and seat is a dump rake that was used to gather hay. When it got full, you would pull a lever forward raising the teeth and it would dump the hay making it easier to gather it. It was pulled behind a tractor and someone would ride on the rake and operate the dumper. I rode many of those as a child.
rskbamer Thanks for all this information! You guys really do make my day, I enjoy learning from everybody. I was born in the 90's so I'm no pro on this older stuff but I'm always sure to ask your guys opinion! Thanks for watching!
Nice find, lots of cool things to look at. I like to see the insides of the houses , but I don't blame you for not going in this one. Thanks for the adventure
Very cool location certainly been alot of years since anyone lived here. anytime I've visited an old place it's always rare to find cars. Great job! Think it was a good call not going in this one.
AbandonedSC Glad you enjoyed it. There use to be alot more cars kicking around when I was younger but scrap metal fever hit in the past couple of years. I checked out your channel and it seems pretty cool, I subscribed. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Glad to have ya bud.same here still watching some of yours. Yeah scrap metal stuff is so bad around here soon as someone moves the scrap thieves bust in and steal all the wire and copper pipes.then the owners throw there hands up and they get left abandoned.
Lots of cool stuff! Wish I had some of the rusted farm implements for display in my garden or barn. I call it "yard art" my husband calls it crap. haha
Awesome!! I wish there was places like that down here in ont,but they are all gone! In the barn, was 3 old seed drills, used for planting corn, grain. In the back of the house, that was a cream seperator, there should be a big round aluminum piece that goes on top! that was a good find today! Arn"t you scared going to these places by yourself,I would be shitting my pants at every noise and twigs snapping!! OH! that car was Interesting to..1965-68
Robert Hardwick Thanks for all that information, you just blew my mind! I do sometimes get nervous when going out to remote locations but it isn't so much the location its self that scares me, It's just the bears... Oh and old hand dug open wells... I do have an irrational fear of falling into an old well lol. I realized once I got back to my home that the car was a bit older, the tail lights actually gave it away to me, that's why I added in the small note to explain it. Id say it's about a 67. Thanks for watching!
+tails doll black I have a spot this summer I plan to hit hard! I'm going to bring in a dirt sifter and my metal detector and go through the whole house. should be a time!
nice . this year i plan to start off smack dab in the middle of the woods and sooner or later on a farm . there is this one hunters cabin i know of i also have plans on this one bible camp ive already found a horseshoe a brick and a rather old butter knife wish me luck xD
Back in the 1960's, GM created a unique-looking Chevrolet every year (no two years were alike). This is definitely a '66. Fun Hollywood Fact? a '66 Chevy was the 'star car' in the t.v. program 'Baretta'.
nowitsabadtime Thanks for the information! I was born in the 90's so I don't ever claim to be an exact expert on this old iron but I give it my best guess! Thanks for watching!
are you sick ? sorry for asking this, cause you always sneez or cough ? stay healthy cause the wheather are getting cold...nice video and thanks for the tour...greeting from indonesia^~^
I was wondering, if an abandoned property is left alone for so many years can someone claim it? pay the taxes at the local office? tear down the property & build something? How's it work in Maine?
+Child of the Most High God I'm in New Brunswick, Canada. I know there is a process to do it here but I wouldn't begin to know how to do it myself. Thanks for stopping by!
you should carry a putty knife for emblems etc, you're walking past lots of money. research feebay prices. i've probably seen over a thousand in the video's i've watched so far. i'm talking small parts that would fit into your pocket. a frontenac grill piece sold for 750.00 online btw. keep up the good work.
+duranate I'm well aware of the money that I walk past in many videos but half of the problem is most of this stuff is on private land which I get permission to enter and most owners won't let go of anything. There are unique situations though where land has been reclaimed by the government or just dump sites on crown land in general where I can take stuff but its hard to deal with the older folks they just hate to let go.
ultimate wilderness adventures Yes sir, Victoria county area. If you know of some areas around here let me know, we would all enjoy seeing them! Thanks for watching.
ultimate wilderness adventures About 2 and a half hours away from Sussex. The closest major area would probably be Woodstock but I'm still an hour from there. I'm out in the boondocks lol.
brian70Cuda If everything goes according to plan I should have a brand new detector for spring, it'll be well worth the 500 dollars. My old detector is kind of on the rocks it still works but it gets alot of false hits which can be very annoying. In the near future I also plan to start doing some gold prospecting, I've been eyeing gold wash plants and they go for around 1,200 dollars. Alot of exciting stuff for the future! Thanks for watching Brian!
Henry S All kinds of reasons. One of my future videos coming up this summer of a certain place of business was abandoned after a police raid about 15 years ago. The owner was caught laundering drug proceeds though his business to make it look legit. Thanks for watching

yea well if your ever up in the sussex area i got some old farm equipment sunk in the ground and old cars
That car and those farm implements would be highly coveted by restorers. Do you ever research ownership with a view to buying??
the Red Machine on the front porch is a cream separator
@1:50, the license plate is still there, all you have to do is flip-up the gas door. (dying to know what it says for a year!)

I always wondered who most abandoned properties belong to. Bank? A relative who doesn't know it's theirs? Don't know.
