Wonderful Christmas gifts, we love our tools. Customer service can be a nightmare at times, Paul was really nice to help you like that. I was back in the hospital but was released the 31st. I hope you had a wonderful New Year. Wonderful video, God bless.
Even though I had you secretly in my ear I was gripped by your Christmas story! Hope 2025 is kind to you Sollers, I only found you recently but I love your channel and your 'vibe' 🥰 My wife and I love watching you on a Sunday evening 🙂 Thank you for all the great videos
Your hubby treated you very well for Christmas, nice couple of tear downs to boot. Those 2 tools with the selector switches are ratchets.lol. I stumbled on my words for tools also. I am sorry that y'all had to endure the disrespect of the customer service personal. I believe that Paul did his best to rectify the problem and compensate the best he could at his level. As I may have told you that I will be coming up on my dad's passing in 10 days ( 3 years ago) and then 20 days later will be my little sister's passing and that is 2 years ago. My mom, brother and I will be celebrating their going home every year until we are all back together again. I know that it's only been a short time for you, but as long as you continue to talk about Benny and his little things he did. The memories will keep you both in thought and laughter, that is how we deal with losing both of them. Take care Sollers and I will see you on the next video.
I'll be thinking of you all, your Dad passed very close to my sister, she passed away on 21st January 2022. Never stop thinking of those we've lost. I hope 2025 is kind to you💜
@SollersScrappingandDiving thanks, I will also be thinking of you and your family during this time as well. Take care of yourself and your family. Enjoy your game night. I will be watching for the next video.
Nice presents i spent Christmas with my three footballing grand daughters and my grandson who is also a footballer for many years i cared for my mum and she passed away July this so has been first Christmas without her aged 92 happy new year to you and all the family keep up the good work 👍👍👍👍

@@empirefinds same to you buddy, I have your latest couple on my catch up list, I only stated watching UA-cam this festive season yesterday🙈. Wishing you and yours all the best for 2025❤

Ratchet, i just couldn't find the word in my excitement 😂 Yes we have plan for a proper workshop 😂🙈 then yes I'd like a compressor etc for a nice load of air tools and a welder and ohhhh so much more😂
Drills spark because they have bushes if you have a bushless drill it would spark so if the drill stops working and the battery is fine change the bushes out I think they are pretty universal
The sparking in the drill is not normal. Most modern drills are brushless and should not spark. Older drills that use brushes do spark but only when something is not working right.
Thank you, I've looked it up as there were so many differing opinions and apparently it is normal on starting and stopping a drill with brushes....phew🙂
@@SollersScrappingandDiving don’t take the quality ones out of the house, in case you leave them on your next skip dive 😬 half of my tools I should scrap, because they are buggered but I keep throwing them back in the box🤷♂️

Indeedy. Wishing you a fab 2025 UK scrapper 🥰
Scrappers hold back for the holidays. Yards drop prices accordingly. Turn in early or wait till March to get the money
Definitely, I never go to the yard in December or January for that very reason!

@@philuin9594 ah of course, I've only ever had cheap drills so have never had sparking brushes 😂 Thank you👍
Why don’t these manufacturers have light magnet strips to hold the bits in place, I open my set Wicks and yep bits everywhere🤷♂️
Indeed, it is so annoying 🙈
The sparking in the drill is not normal. Most modern drills are brushless and should not spark. Older drills that use brushes do spark but only when something is not working right.

£50 😳😳😳 but you get what you pay for with quality
Good job they were a present, I could never have justified that expense on myself, but indeed, top quality🙂
