Gutted that FC St. Pauli lost their manager AND their best player. It may be one and done in the 1. Bundesliga. You’re getting a good one that’s fun to watch. Good video about his career and talents.
Thank you! Hartel did wilt in the Bundesliga with Bielefeld a couple years ago so maybe he indeed is a 1.5 Bundesliga player. But losing Hurzeler hurts. Hopefully they find a way to survive.

I really hope him and Teuchert will be a great duo, also really sad about Celios injury as well as AZ’s departure. I wonder if Hartel will take the penalties now instead of Löwen?
I'm really curious to see how the PKs shake out. Also, Hartel can play on the left, so he could theoretically replace Celio there until he gets healthy, then shift to the CAM.

@@SoccerZombieSTL The german word is Köln. I think there is nothing similar in English to the german letter ö. So it is not surprising if the pronunciation is not easy. Ah that makes sense. You should hear us try to pronounce Cedric Teuchert! We can't do the gutteral "ch" in the throat well over here. I've kind of settled on Toy-curt (soft cu) even though I know it's not "proper".
@@SoccerZombieSTL In fact, the “ch“ has two different sounds in German. It depends on the vowel(s) in front of the “ch“. In the case of Teuchert, it’s not gutteral in the throat, but sounds soft. Unfortunately this sound doesn't exist in English either. In this short video you can hear the pronunciation of Teuchert's name at 0.10

But enough on German language. This is about soccer. I think both Hartel and Teuchert are good players who can help you. I wish you every success and will certainly keep an eye on St. Louis.
When watching Hartel, for me he resembled a James Maddison, former Leicester City and current Tottenham Hotspur player. I'm very stoked about seeing both Hartel and Teuchert on the field in St. Louis. Any ideas on when they expect to begin playing? I was guessing after the All-Star break.
Clearly, Pfannenstiel isn't playing around. He's in it to win it, and soon. The core of St. Louis, with Burki, Parker/Nilsson, Lowen/Durkin/Hartel, & Teuchert/Klauss looks to me to be (on paper) as good as it gets in the MLS. This team is going to make some serious noise.
They can play starting the July 20th game at kansas then the League$ Cup begins.

I wouldn't call it a "hot seat" yet but it's probably getting warm...
Why would he be "on the hot seat" at all? He won the West last year with an expansion team. And this year his best players have missed lots of games. No hot seat until they underperform. Let's not forget we've been without Lowen for nearly the entire season.
