Hi, this is in reply to Rustem Yeshpanov, you are absolutely right. There is a grammar rule that the verb "graduate" should be followed by the preposition "from". However, it is also used these days without the preposition "from", for example "she graduated college". It is a slightly more informal use of the verb, quite common in the US as well as in the UK now. All the best Liz

The answer is false. In the question it is mentioned that coffee arrived after 17th century that is after 1700. But the passage says that coffee arrived by the second half of 17th century that is between 1601 to 1700. So this is still in 17th century.
2nd half of 17th century is between 1750 to 1800. nt b4 17th century. wat u said is 2nd half 16th century. out of 10 ,1to 5 is first half and 6 to 10 is 2nd half. After 10,11 to 15 is the 1st half and 16 to 20 is 2nd half.
@@amriasok5230 It is my problem too. The 17th century starts from 1601 to 1700. The passage says "second half of ..." which means 1650-1700 and the question says AFTER 17th which means after 1701 😥 I hope I could explained clearly

Thank you so much for keeping these invaluable tips free. :)
You're the absolute best!
first of all i want to thank you Liz for this video it has more information more than i have been learned at school i found it very useful ,many thanks for your time and your advice
Thanks
Thank you :)
Hey Liz. really impressive and cheerful presentation. I had just started to look into the exam format. I think you are an amazing teacher.
Thank you so much for your help LIZ....Of all videos that I watched....your videos are the best!!!
You are absolutely correct...
The answer is false. In the question it is mentioned that coffee arrived after 17th century that is after 1700. But the passage says that coffee arrived by the second half of 17th century that is between 1601 to 1700. So this is still in 17th century.
you are right..note: second half of 17th century is 1651 to 1700
2nd half of 17th century is between 1750 to 1800. nt b4 17th century. wat u said is 2nd half 16th century. out of 10 ,1to 5 is first half and 6 to 10 is 2nd half.
Still the best video on Internet today! Thank you Liz
