I found out that if you moisturize your hair the night before and tie it down with a scarf, the next morning when you put gel on to make the ponytail, it doesn't leave a residue or flakes on your hair. Just a suggestion and I don't know if it works on others. I know it works for me since I always have a problem with gels causing flakes. Hope this helps

I found this vid because I needed to see if it was worth buying after I bought it, I usually use the gold one so I'm really worried that the coconut won't work

I’m really late....I got this gel it doesn’t work for me at all I have 3C hair but it’s very thick....doesn’t work for me whatsoever willing to take suggestions.
