100% to that list Craig. I have very much the same. Then add my Scosche 700 Power-up jump starter/trickle charger and compact powerful Fantikk F8 tire compressor. Throw in bath size towel (rolled up nice and tight for stowage). Great for sitting on the hard dirty ground staying clean, add a couple of pairs of very pliable thin nitrile gloves in a ziplock baggy for a sure grip on most anything keeping clean hands too. Nice job Craig. Good topic.
Man the Rok Straps are gold...Yup, I have all that and more when riding daily at home. No brush for me, I have no hair lol. I also carry traffic flares, however, I was told to just get a few rechargeable LED road lights. So we may be switching to the lights.
Great Video and Great info. I carry Much of the same stuff with the addition of a Scosche PowerUp® 700 700A Portable Car Jump Starter/USB Power Bank and LED Flashlight. Thanks For the Info.
I keep a lot of the same stuff on my bike. Just a note about the glass cleaner: I would NOT use that on my windshield. Glass cleaners are designed for glass and can cause damage to plexi-glass windshields. Plexus cleaner is good but expensive. That Honda polish is a good substitute. You could even use Pledge in a pinch (I used to always use it on my hockey visors). On longer trips, I'll carry a small hairspray bottle with mild soap and water, which is great for softening up and cleaning bugs off the windshield (and visor). Keeping a booster is probably a good idea. I keep one for long trips and have used it twice. Once for myself, after leaving the ignition on during dinner, and for a random Harley rider at McDonald's with a bad battery (his wife was unimpressed so I might have saved hus marriage, lol). In the cooler months (i.e. now), I'll also carry my heated gear just in case I get caught out later than expected. As such, there's a balaclava that lives in my top case year-round 'cuz I'm too lazy to take it out! Keep it up!
Plus, I carry 3 pairs of gloves with me at all times for summer riding; Fingerless, summer rain, summer mesh. Fall / late November riding; Leather, insulated rain, heated.
Good job Craig a few items I carry, a bike cover, extra gloves, a bottle of water and a neck warmer to name a few. One question I have is why did you park your bike so far away from the bench? Cheers
Great stuff Dave. I also carry water. That was a definitely a priority. I parked further away because I saw some broken glass on the ground closer to the bench. 😂. Ride safe
