- These are the top holiday light displays in Portland, Oregon. The Christmas Spirit is certainly abundant in the Rose City. We go to Peacock Lane, The Oregon Zoo Lights and The Grotto for The Festival of Lights!
The Oregon Zoo during the holiday season has the grounds lit up with over a million lights illuminating sculptures throughout the park. Grab a warm cocoa, hot coffee or even a cold brew and stroll the grounds enjoying the yuletide cheer.

Going on 100 years of Christmas, Peacock Lane in SE Portland shows off the lighted holiday displays by the residents of the block. This free display is obviously a labor of love for families to enjoy.

Finally, The Grotto hosts The Festival of Lights. Carolers, choirs and storytellers perform nightly outside of the Catholic shrine. Christmas lights are beautifully on display making this a definite visit during the Christmas holiday.

This looks like an amazing area to be in for the holidays, so many holiday themed events and light displays. The house displays were fantastic. I liked how some houses went with the movie theme - saw Home Alone and Griswalds.

Now that lights up Christmas! Great light displays and great editing / music make this a very fun watch. Really like that opening text you did - that was nice! The grotto looks like a place we would want to visit up there and peacock lane is just unbelievable. I (Scott) grew up and outside of Portland for many many years and have never been to the Grotto or the zoo lights but have done peacock lane many time however its been years.
What a small world! I know many times we will fly to a destination and hike and go exploring and always realize we have several places similar right in our own backyard. Actually having the you tube channel has helped us explore more within a days drive from home and in our own backyard. Thanks for joining us!
