This was wonderful. I really enjoyed it. I liked the facial exercises and tongue twisters part a lot. I find it challenging to speak very openly because I'm a little bit shy. Thank you so much. You're a good person and teacher. You look beautiful too : ) Congratulations for being married too : )
I am a retired professor who taught English phonology and I really appreciate how you teach the basic English phonemes without using technical terms such as three-term labels.
This video was really helpful. I practised these exercises for a week and I was having my presentation in school and everyone was shocked and they were like "How did you learn to speak that clearly".I advised them to watch English with Lucy
Madam, When it comes to pronunciation sometimes check Longman Pronunciation Dictionary to teach correct English pronunciation. e.g., missile is pronounced /'mısaıl/ and not mısıl according to Longman Pronunciation Dictionary, the Bible of English language.
Thank you for the extraordinary video on pronunciation techniques. Practice makes perfect, even if one gets a muscle spasm. Simply the best! Thank you for generously imparting the resources as well. 💛🧡❤
Your voice, like music of the spring, So gentle, like the dawn in early haze, I hear the melodies you bring, Of love and tender, soothing ways.Your voice, a light in silent night, It warms my soul, like flames of fire, You’re like a beacon shining bright, In darkness, lifting me up higher.Within your voice, there's sorrow, joy, A song that nature sings so sweet, It’s like the rain that clears annoy, With you, I feel complete.Your voice, a gift, a grace, a balm, It heals the pain and soothes the heart, Each time you speak, a tender calm, You’re like an angel from the start.Speak on, let time just fade away, Let your voice always be with me, In a world of grief and disarray, Your voice, my guiding light, will be.
I find this video very crucial for my English knowledge. My frequent use of the American accent, i sought to find it that it isn't helping me pronounce some other words properly. I'm so grateful for this wonderful and informative lessons dear Lucy. Thank you oh so much.
I'M REALLY SORRY I'M GRADUATE FROM MARDAN COLLEGE AND AND RECEIVED DEGREE IN ADVANCE ENGLISH BUT CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH FLUENTLY PLEASE HELP ME THAN YOU ❤❤❤❤❤
Even After 18 years of living in England my English accent still sounds foreign. Only except for I have hot potato in my mouth, then I sound like true English man.
Thank you, that was helpful. Could you perhaps talk about the difference between dark and clear „L“ in one of your next lessons? How is it pronounced and how is used - is there any rule?
Educate me on David Bowie's accent. I know he was born in Brixton yet grew up in Bromley, Kent. Listening to him casually talk in is later periods, trying to figure out if it's Modern Kent, contemporary posh or standard southern? I'm very curious to hear your opinion. Thank you!
Very good lesson! I did well all along, the only thing I didn't know was the different stress for the word 'conduct'. But I Have An Important Question : how can foreigners lose their original accent? That's really the most difficult thing for me. Thanks you very much

On the opening statements, the word "never" casts a long shadow. There is not an English speaker in the world that can truthfully and honestly say yes to any of those statemnents. It's more a mater of whether it happens frequently, seldom, or only in very rare occasions.
Good morning Lucy. I was able to pronounce the sentences you put up in the video like you but I wasn't as fast as you, anyway thanks a lot for everything you make for us. Bye for now.
