My dipping my toe into the keyboard market was with the Womier S-K71 Keyboard! The quality and sound is next level. A fully aluminum case, bluetooth or 2.4 Ghz, or wired and the best sound in a non custom built keyboard I had heard yet. Definitely recommend looking up a video for the sound.
Hello, I just saw this video and I have some recommendations. But yeah, these require you to open up your keyboard's case. Since you said you were going for the creamy sound, the PE foam mod will do wonders for your current build, just like keebface did in his video. Just get a thin sheet and layer it on top of the PCB, then put the plate foam and plate on top of it, and push the switches through. Sandwiching that foam sheet creates a sort of sound filter which enables the creamy sound. As for the keycaps, they didn't look uneven when you opened the box at 5:15. I suggest taking the offending keycaps off and laying them on a table. As long as they belong on the same row, they should be the same height when looking at them from the side. If you see that they are, then it's just a matter of pushing down harder when you pop them on your switches. Case in point, take a look at your left Shift key at 8:06 - the left side of the keycap could be pushed down more. I feel like you're at 90% of the way to the build you want to have, actually. Push for that last 10% and go for it! Good luck!!
@Grimlo9ic thank you for your comment! :) someone else said that the switches are supposed to be that way- uneven lol. i actually did end up taking them out (the switches and the keycaps) and putting them back in, but i didn’t show it in the video, and it still didn’t press in the correct way :/ but you’re right, maybe i should just do it over again and push down more lol

@sinnerairsoft8487 thank you for your comment! :D that’s super informative, thank you. yeah, he did say to lube one and then test it out before continuing with the other switches, but of course I didn’t do that 😭 next time i’ll try out your method… it was a long process, I don’t think I was expecting for it to take that much time lol
@@mishileehunibee it really does take a long time especially if you use that method. I think stem+ spring lube is enough for most switches since the quality has gotten much better over the years. If you want you can get some 105 krytox and bag lube your springs too, seems to do it a good job. I just didnt get aroudn to get the 105 haha. Enjoy the hobby :)
i got it today and its amazing
you probably prefer cherry profile keycaps, since thats what you had original.
Love your voice
