What an amazing experience it truly was!! The parade had so many amazing performers & showcases inside! So many military personal. I was so impressed! And… I finally got to see abang bomba for the first time… wow! What a sight that was 😝🥵🔥

Finally! I was waiting for your video on our Merdeka day celebration. Looks like you really enjoyed the celebration. Well, it is not about Malaysian time. You just have to be there earlier to get a good view of the event. Plus because the VIPs were coming down as well (yeah, you spotted the cars that brought the PM and The YDPA (the King)), thus the public had to be earlier than them. Even I sat in front of TV before 7am on that day! I couldn’t come down as I had to work on Friday 😅 I believe you now have the every reason to call Malaysia your home ❤

A little bit of Malaysian/ Malayan history before you were born, Malayan had reason to celebrate her independence...
We had the British here ( Malay States ) as the BA ( British Administration ) and some of them, like you fell in love with the country, and stayed on to be Malaysians.
Some of the names ( towns/ roads/ buildings ) are still around to remind you the British influence in the then Malaya.
My personal experience of the British presence were the rubber estate managers leading the scout movements and being friendly with the British soldiers who were here in the fight against the communists.

I just wanna say that this parade was definitely memorable and filled with blood sweat and tears. I was in that parade and we spent many hours a day to train our stamina and its so easy to get burnt out. I performed as a percussionist and I get back sprain so easily in that parade because of that heavy drum which btw weighs over 10kg.
But in the end it was worth it, I love you Malaysia.

Kadang kala pelik juga tiap kali ada video tentang hari kemerdekaan Malaysia yang dibuat oleh warga eropah, Akan muncul netizen dari negara seberang yang digelar Indonesia meninggalkan komen-komen yang kurang ajar. Adakah ini jati diri rakyat negara Indonesia. Yang telah diajarkan sejak dibangku sekolah lagi. Atau merekalah saki baki keturunan yang terlibat semasa slogan "ganyang Malaysia" dan menyokong dengan sepenuh hati mereka dan menganggap tindakan menyerang Malaysia adalah tindakan yang benar atas kepala moyang dia yang bongkak dan sombong. Demi membebaskan Malaysia katanya. Sedangkan mereka ingin merampas kemerdekaan negara Malaysia. Dan mengambil kesempatan dimana pada mereka itulah masa yang sesuai untuk menjajah Malaysia dan memperluaskan lagi wilayah-wilayah provinsi Indonesia. Kerana negara baru tidak ada kelengkapan pertahanan. Akan tetapi segalanya meleset. Kerana ianya tidak semudah yang disangka. Ironinya seperti ada satu persamaan dengan kejadian semasa kejatuhan kesultanan Melayu Melaka ditangan portugis dahulu, dimana pihak tentera jawa datang setelah jatuhnya kota Melaka di tangan portugis sedangkan mereka patutnya tiba sebelum itu. Berapa wilayah lagi yang telah dipaksa untuk membentuk Indonesia??
