- 'Maësharn' is a film following And Also The Trees on their 'Born into the waves' tour in France, with interviews of the band and their close staff, backstages and soundchecks, and above all live parts from their shows in Dijon (Théâtre des Feuillants) and Paris (Café de la danse) on the 15th and the 16th of october, 2016.

Thanks for this work. Fantastic job! This is a real treat for me living in the US, and unable to travel abroad to see them. Thanks also to the band for continuing to share their music live with audiences after all these years; for finding the balance in life to create brilliant, authentic and powerful music to sweep away folks like me to a place without politics, war and news media mind control. So nice to relax in a field of wheat, under grey clouds and nestled between rolling hills in whatever country the band transports me to when they play different songs. Thanks also to the band for having the courage to share the details of the band and crew's personal stories. I know that it is no small event to achieve the precision and dynamics that they bring to their live shows without the help of that crew, manager and the fan support in Europe. I am more than a casual fan. I'm pretty obsessed with their music actually and have been a fan since 1986, so hearing these personal stories was quite a treat.
Thanks very much, and keep the shows, videos, recordings and CD's coming. A request: At some point, it would be nice to see a general documentary which included interviews with former touring members such as Steven Burrows, Nick Havas, Emer Brizzolara, and Ian Jenkins. I respect their privacy, but if they were willing to share, their stories would be fascinating to me as well. It's a name that Simon is shouting in 'Your Guess'. He invented that name for the woman in the song.
