Well if anyone can sort the problems, get it to work and provide top customer service it's you and the people of Micro Maintenance. Great video Mark.

Loved that. Technical stuff lost me a bit (I’m quite simple!) but was back with you at prop pitch stuff. Love the flying segments interspersed with the spannering. Great stuff team Micro. 👍

I’ll admit, the tech on this lost me a few times too. I enjoyed doing some actual vlogging, passed the time too

    Wow Mark
How far have we come from MK1 eyeball and seat of the pants flying… ?
Gizmos and great when they work, and you made it work! 👏👏👏 so patience IS a virtue…

Amazing advancements but yes still Mk1 for me. It was a challenge I won’t lie but good fun once I’d figured it all out.

Really enjoyed the video, I’m afraid I was lost with Cambus and programming, I understood prop pitch. You have the patience of a saint. Job well done and you will remember for next time. 👍👍

It can get very complicated very quickly, but the learning curve is quite steep. Prop was an irritating but common problem unfortunately… fingers crossed my retention skills remain high 😬

Glad you managed to get everything sorted out, and my simpler single panel setup should be a straightforward fit after that lot :)

I like the look of Kanardia, and i like that they arent US owned, you can also set altitude to metres. Look forward to trying their products here in AUS. Thanks for the vid.

haha, I knew this Skyranger when previous owner had it, kept telling him prop pitch was wrong, also told Matt not to go with glass panel

Looking at your programing fun is why I like the old steam guages 🙂Would probably be easier as a first user. 🙂 The reboot in flight would drive me mad, it is bad enough when the iPad goes blank but that is why I use maps as primary and Sky Demon as back up but I have conseeded to one electronic instrument, a MGL for the engine, which if it fails is no a emediate end of the world.

      My default is also
Old school, give me a map any day… BUT, this was very impressive I’d say we used about 20% of its capabilities

@@wingnutshomeofmicromainten6946like many computer systems, there are too many bells and whistles, that have no place with the ordinary pilot, we need to keep their heads looking out, not whatthe trend has been for maintaining heading over the last half hour. That said some you can record / recall engine and flight trends, so when we come to service, we can see the pilot over speeded the flaps or did not let the engine get to temp.

Yes big brother does have its place, I’ve developed a number of systems that would record “black box”
Style including voice and visual but feel that it would be more beneficial to the insurance companies than the pilots or maintenance

@@wingnutshomeofmicromainten6946 I'm currently working on an experimental using a motec dash for data recording, but if kanardia is able to record engine parameters for engine tuning and troubleshooting, that would make it easier. So having many channels/inputs are a good thing for the right person.

    Great video Mark.
Just wondering how much time did you have to spend with owner to give him the knowledge to work the EFIS, and associated instruments.
    👌👌

The user interface is actually very easy to use and self explanatory, but we spoke throughout the build so I know he was doing his research prior to delivery. We also offer after sales support but fortunately he’s not called yet. 👍🏻
