This is cool. I think its a great idea to do a plant tour. Even if you had zero followers its a great way to document your collections progress from year to year.
I love how lush and healthy most of your plants... They're beautiful and i find it interesting that you have more common to uncommon plants rather than the rare ones...
May is a good year. I was born May 1980 so in 2020 I turned 40 lol...which was reflected in the year 20+20. Anyhow I will definitely look forward to the May updates.
Really enjoyed this. You have great plants and what a great way to document hold yourself accountable. Now get those anthuriums in a tank or something. 💚
I love you plants! I love that you love plants, but personally that is too much plants for me in one small space. If that is what you want, than I fine with that. More power to you🙃🥰
YAY awesome tour!!! I think the scindapsus treubii moonlight it also one of my favorite plants! I have one two leaf cutting that I’ve been growing. It has a new leaf that got stuck, I helped it out and I think it’s undamaged! Do you have any tips for growing them so beautiful? It hasn’t done much for me yet but I did get it online during winter so maybe it just needs some time to adjust. I have it by a humidifier though so hopefully I don’t get anymore stuck leaves. Great tour Tate!!!!
Can you give some care guidance on your Hoya Carnos (Krimson Princess)? I have had 1 for a year outside on my front porch (central Florida) and its okay, maybe grown a little, but I definitely think she could be happier. I might bring her inside, and repot her.
Hey! I really just have it sitting in very bright indirect light, and only water it when it’s leaves are very bendy, probably every couple weeks. Good luck with yours!!
I purchased a Hoya Carnosa Crimson queen last month or a month and a half now. My first and only Hoya, not a Hoya head😂. Understand now that they are really slow growing and it didn't really do anything or so I thought for a while so I understand now how you got bored but it's starting to put out tendrils so I am happy but we are heading into Autumn/winter. I got a String of hearts rescue, just feels like I'm killing it more for some reason. Like it's putting new growth but the old is like shriveled and doesn't look good. It's getting enough water think the nursery gave it cycles of too much and too little. with me it's more regular because when it's dry I water when it's moist first couple of layers I leave it and I water every two weeks if it needs more water. More would lead to root rot I think. I don't know
tate, how did u acquire most of your plants ? trades, etsy, facebook groups etc?? I would love to know your favorite shops / sellers because you have the GOODS
I would consider the new leaf on your alocasia frydek stuck, is that right? Because this happened to a few of my plants as well and I helped it out but I’m not sure it’s that’s the right thing to do😅 I have a scindapsus near my bed and I kept hitting it when I got up so I moved it yesterday😂 And because you read the comments before you go to sleep: good night!🌙💤
@@TatesPlants Thank you! I've been stressing as 2 weeks is plenty of time for me to kill a fern. I'm good with hardier ones like Crispy Wave and Crocodile Ferns, but the frilly ones suffer.
You KILLED a ZZ? What are you doing with your life child?? LOL How do you tell the difference between a tc and a non-tc plant? Is one preferred over the other? Why?
Hahahaha I know I know. It was the first year of plant collecting and I gave it too much light, not a big enough pot and too much water. It was a disaster. For the rhaphidaphora they have different leaf shapes! TC is massed produced which is great cuz more people can have it, so people sometimes seek out non TC because it’s the “original” instead of the cloned one. Hope that all makes sense haha
Its refreshing to hear your honesty about your plants.
Haha I’m glad to hear it!
This is cool. I think its a great idea to do a plant tour. Even if you had zero followers its a great way to document your collections progress from year to year.
Yeah for sure!! That’s really why I started doing it in the first place!
I love how you say “ I love this one so much “ after everyone one 😭😭 that’s the spirit !
Your pink princess is probably the first I’ve seen that I actually like 🙌🏾💕 thanks for the tour!

I go back and forth on it hahaha it’s just such a slow grower 😭 I need to be more patient haha
Can I get some tips on Florida Ruffle Ferns? I have to care for my neighbour's for the next 2 weeks and I am terrified. 😂
I water it like once a week and it’s in bright indirect!! Probably would like less water more often if I could, but I can’t keep up w it haha

Some of those 🪴 says, I am thirsty. I'm hot, get me out of the 🌞. Wata please.

very silvery very ann lol
Hahaha it is!!
Hi what type of plant food do you use?
Hey!! I use liquidirt. Highly recommend!
💚🌱
🌿💚
UA-cam somehow unsubscribed me from this channel...since this morning. How does that happen? 😠
Ummmm rude of them??? Welcome back I guess haha
To many 🪴 and no time to take care of them. Sell some and keep some cuttings. It will be wise, because they have feelings.
That's a big mess! The room and shelves are so dirty that the plants don't look good.
Thanks!
Hey... consider changing the intro sound.... it gives a huge headache.

Just followed on Instagram and subscribed. I did a houseplant tour as well. Hopefully you can check it out!
I'm so sad that the pink princess is so expensive now 😭 Would you consider selling a cutting from on of your pink princesses?
I know they’ve really spiked in price 😕 I’m not currently selling but might in the future!!
