Consider this a bonus form I did as an experiment. I've been wanting to do a Summoner-type moveset for a while now and this is what I came up with ! Feedback appreciated :)
The only thing that can kill a team of protagonists with the power of friendship. Is a wave of a billion enemies technically using the power of friendship (aka jumping them with the entire verse.)
The level of quality for your character mods just keeps improving and its so awesome to see Hands down my favourite KH3 mod oml I've had *so* much fun playing as xehanort and can't wait for all these new forms to be added! I really hope that either you or someone else gives one of the girls some love once this is done, we need a fully fleshed-out Aqua or Kairi mod! Please keep up the good work you are an actual legend and a pillar of the modding community 💖

I forgot to rate the finisher 11 out of fucking 10 This has to be the coldest rawest finisher in the history of modding Summoning darkness storm that creates darksides doing their shockwave moves into shadow meteors rising from the deepest of hell is actually so good I wish the finisher was that move darkside uses against aqua where he summons dark sun that shoot beams and waves of hell against enemies in 0.2
This is the coolest and craziest thing I have ever seen in a Kingdom Hearts game. Everyone who worked on this mod, whether or not they touched this specific weapon, deserves props. I'd like to home in on how this feels like something that would work in an official Kingdom Hearts game. I don't know what else to say, you've all done incredibly well.
I can see you experimented with more projectile weapons again this is a surprising but welcome weapon i like it alot :D just the idea of summoning enemies to attack for you just feels so on theme for xehanort
This was so awesome! Your already playing as a Dark Seeker so it makes perfect sense that he can summon Heartless and this makes the mod even better than it already was.
This looks SICK, thats incredible! The effects are on point, and the additional models surprised me! Must''ve been some work to do all that lol the one thing i'm a bit confused is that during the combo xehanort's animation seem to be looping in a funny way, and its specially noticiable since he is mostly still. But again, this looks incredible, good work! :)
Yeah I tried to add some interpolation inbetween them but since the anims themselves are so similar and quick, the transition can look weird sometimes. Don’t really know what else to do to make it look less weird ..
This is incredible, I never thought my favorite necromancer would be in a kingdom hearts mod, but here we are. I cannot wait for this next update to come out, and this just makes me even more hype for marluxia's weapon.
This looks absolutely amazing, love all the little details with the shadows around you, and the use of the variety of enemies through out all the attacks. Again, like many other form demostrations you've posted. Every upload demonstrating new forms is always a joy since they usually break what I'd expect would be possible by modding this game. Looking forward to see more! As for feedback, I think the summoner archetype is hard to make satisfying, hard to make your actions feel like they have weight when your character is standing idly for most of it. Only change that I may request would be for unlocked movement during basic attacks, at least for The Darkness form change itself if not just having the keyblade equipped. Albeit slowed, thinking the same as the player's normal walking speed, but it could be tweaked. Would make it feel a bit more dynamic rather than being locked in performing a ranged action. But as for what I love about the form change, the many uses of the heartless throughout the entire moveset, some really creative stuff! Thinking mainly of the shadows that swarm during most actions, love to see it. Another highlight is just the abilities that linger for a while even when switching keyblades, giving the form a ton of utility to add to your combos outside of the form.
Hey thank you for the kind words and feedback! The stationary attacks are something we specifically wanted to have for this moveset. Inspired by the black coats stationary attacks from DDD. It’s also supposed to show that YX really isn’t doing much and just mostly summoning heartless to do his bidding. Another reason would be balance. The form is extremely OP by nature. Damage is one of the lowest of all movesets but that’s only because you can pretty much catch any vulnerable frames any enemy might have instantly and from a great distance literally without moving anywhere near them.
This is a really good mod! I like how the different heartless are implemented into the shotlocks and the like and how the finisher looks. One slight criticism I have is that I had trouble predicting where in the combo you were. I wasn't able to tell when the finisher was coming outside of the voicelines, which is different from other forms in which each attack is somewhat distinct.
The devil cyclone shooting towards enemies is the finisher. The other combos are very similar to each other differing only in hand movements, amount of shadows, placement of shadows etc
this is something i have been dying to see done in a mod someone actually using the countless freaken heartless that exists into a move set is just beautiful!
Love the idea. Though, he should honestly have more than just Shadows. Heck, Young Xehanort was first met in the Dream World, so him having Dream Eater Nightmare types would be rather fitting. But, I have to say, having a fighting style like this is VERY fitting and well thought out. Nice concept.:D

Super excited for an update/release Already got to the end of the story in the current version and love everything about where the direction is going, been checking your channel and the nexus pretty frequently but I'm sure you've likely got a ways to go before the next release, especially if you're trying to push it and finish every keyblade before you update it because man you're going fast, really looking forward to the playthrough since the first time around felt like it had limited options (even though it was awesome all the less)
I feel like this is what a different version of Ansem would be if he kept the guardian and his moveset was based on summons rather than darkness energy balls...so cool man!!
OK this is incredible first off I do wonder if there's a way to have the Lich "overwrite" your magic during the formchange. Like instead of Xehanort casting Fire Blizzard Thunder etc the Lich appears and does it for you. Keeping it to the shotlock is cool but I wonder if there's a way to do that as well.
cool idea and one i thought about aswell. I dropped it when i realized how slow the lich casts stuff though . you couldnt really effectively use it in combos probably. i might still do it at some point though just for fun tbh.
The finisher is amazing! I have a suggestion: Could it be possible to maybe have an entity linger for attacks similarly to the Heartless in the ??? form? Maybe the Darksides at the finisher could linger along with the meteors? Or another kind of entity as an attack/ability/command, could really solidify it as a summoner form.
One idea if we ever get to use spells, is that Younge Xehanort can call the Elemental Cores to aid him, like the fire types using the fire core, the water using the water core, not sure for the earth ones but... maybe Rockaza?.. it can be used as an idea. Design wise for Young Xehanort as well, knowing that the Zephiroth moveset can have a Zephiroth costume, maybe one idea for a clothes change for YX it could be based on the Shadow from Once Upon a Time (which would be just a pitch black young Xehanort with yellow eyes, anti sora style), or even the Dark Ones/The Darkness also from Once Upon a Time as well (i like how the design of the cloaks fits more as it looks natural for the users of Darkness, while the black coats feels more industrial, like the emblem heartless which are artificially made too.)
I like the concept and playstyle, but I think Young Xehanort needs a bit more animation to indicate he's the one directing the summons and the swarm, rather than just things just "happening" around him. He looks too... passive, which removes some of the kinetic feel of a moveset. Like, maybe he could snap his fingers to call in a tornado of Shadows, or do Xemnas' sort of "Praise the Moon" pose to call in a meteor or do the finisher, cross his arms while guarding behind the Dark Inferno like Ansem, or point at the enemy he's locked onto to command the Flutterings and do the T-pose Sora does for the yoyo shotlock when he's shooting Shadows instead. (Apologies if that's too specific, obviously you have your own vision of it, just posing suggestions.) I do also kinda worry the visual clutter of the formchange will make it hard for the player to see what's going on, but what can ya do.
He does move his left arm and hand for every anim. For some anims more , for some less. The whole point of the form was for him to not do much while the summons do the rest. The stationary anims are a reference to the way black coat nightmare in DDD fights aswell
Wow, this looks so awesome, can't wait to play the v1.3+ version of your mod. Very clean and almost glitchless (just encountered one while fighting data Saix with the Gazing Eye Locus skill, which crashed the game; Too much dancing with the moon moon, i guess xD ). I am also very eager to try out the Xemnas and Ansem movesets. PS: Darkness rules xDDDD
The crash when fighting Saix is a known issue and it’s caused by the „soraspawn“ elements I used which is a blueprint allowing for certain custom stuff to happen. Like the gazing locus, Larxene clones, saix form waves etc. Whenever these „soraspawn“ elements appear during the saix fight, he will try locking on to them and that sometimes crashes the game. The only fix is for the creator of soraspawn (sora101ven) to fix that issue in his blueprint. He’s working on it though afaik!
I think the form is a great idea! It just makes me want a version for Nobodies and Unversed now 💚 it reminds me of how Bayonetta incorporated summons into their gameplay. I think the form is a little bit too slow, looking more of a strike/power form rather than a more technical form. Favourite has to be the finisher! Again great job guys 💚
Trust me , it’s not too slow 😂 you will catch every single damage window of any data boss from any distance easily with this one. Which is why I made it much weaker than other movesets
This is amazing. Only complaint is that I feel like the glide obscures your vision a little too much. Probably might help if YX was surfing atop the Demon Tide like with Vanitas’ Keyblade Glide.
I considered that but it just didn’t look right to me. If I come up with something I’ll definitely implement it though as I also feel like it obscures the screen too much
Thinking about it, I'm suprised how few summoners there are in Kingdom Hearts, at least outside of the ones that just summon clones. I mean, why is it only Sora that gets the summon charms from Yen Sid? And for the villains all of them have at least one kind of minion at their beck and call. Doesn't even have to be for long either, just have them use it as a desperation move like how Sora's summons are also have time limits. Perhaps you could do just that with the existing link system for Young Xehanort.
Really crazy mod right here. A small thing wondering if it's possible for you to add, like I know a streamer started playing your Terra mod (he loves it, especially Chaos Ripper, blade charge) but he also would love to played it blind (like, without knowing what keyblade / form he will get, I am wondering if it's possible for there to be like a spoilerless guide about what each form can do, since a lot of moveset are "hidden" (like using jump during attack, holding block to use locus, hold attack during certain moves to extend it... etc Weird request I know but just wondering if it's possible,
Most of the hidden stuff won’t be hidden in the next update cause it’s been replaced by either reaction commands or the shortcuts in the case of locus skills. The jump during a combo however is just a rising spiral / groundbreaker replacement which is present in the main game already. So it’s not really a hidden thing unless someone never read the abilities in kh3 😅

I would love if you did another formchange similar to this but with the Nobodies.There's not as many in the game compared to the Heartless, but it would be cool to see you do something with them.This form is also fucking sick btw.
This is way too cool, i feel like this form is gonna take some performance with how much stuff is happening on the screen x) One thing tho, i feel like xehanort is too "stationary" during the main combo, like everything spawns around him but he doesn't seem to move at all (sry if i'm not clear enough, i have a hard time finding the right words ^^')
my PC isnt extremely powerful and it didnt really affect performance at all :) the stationary thing was on purpose. Inspired by how the Black Coat in DDD just stands there while casting stuff. I did add some custom arm and hand movements though so its not too boring ^^

I like how you turned the wraith into a suicide bomber, & LOVE the use of Darkside turning the tide of battle. Would you consider adding an option to keep the effect going throughout the battle if possible? Loking forward to the next big update!
The one one where when you summon Darkside the arena turns dark & big dark orbs randomly appear for a bit after the Darksides disappear. Have no idea how difficult it would be to code that for stopping at the end of a fight though. @@therecusant
This mod is so cool, when I have a break from my college work I am definitely going to try out this mod, it would be cool to see a nobody version of this, but that would be a lot harder because there are so much fewer of them, though is this capable with the collosium mod,

If you make a Kairi mod (even though there's one made already) you could make a guardian of light form for Scholar since the name fits for her and the style fits her character as well. Good job on this mod!!!
this makes me hypered for what you might do with the nobodies, unversed or nightmare dream eaters... and i gyuess i have to throw in my obligatory sephiroth wish, even though a sephiroth moveset is unlikely ((would be a nice contrast to Sora's interaction with FF protags))
Unfortunately all the remaining weapon slots are already reserved. If I had to choose one more bonus form though and I had the space for it, I’d definitely love to do a sephiroth moveset!

@@therecusanti would use a controller to turn the cam on which is why it probably freezes like how it do @ 5:03. Whats the shortcut key to turn it on with keyboard?
@@itsdayvee I use a controller aswell. And I froze that myself . I go into freecam by pressing both triggers but it only stops time when I want to by pressing the analog stick

That darkside finisher reminds me of Aqua at the end of BBS!! Absolutely crazy mod.
This & the Sora with DBZ moveset are my favorite KH3 mods

I considered that but it just didn’t look right to me. If I come up with something I’ll definitely implement it though as I also feel like it obscures the screen too much

Thinking about it, I'm suprised how few summoners there are in Kingdom Hearts, at least outside of the ones that just summon clones. I mean, why is it only Sora that gets the summon charms from Yen Sid? And for the villains all of them have at least one kind of minion at their beck and call. Doesn't even have to be for long either, just have them use it as a desperation move like how Sora's summons are also have time limits. Perhaps you could do just that with the existing link system for Young Xehanort.

A small thing wondering if it's possible for you to add, like I know a streamer started playing your Terra mod (he loves it, especially Chaos Ripper, blade charge) but he also would love to played it blind (like, without knowing what keyblade / form he will get, I am wondering if it's possible for there to be like a spoilerless guide about what each form can do, since a lot of moveset are "hidden" (like using jump during attack, holding block to use locus, hold attack during certain moves to extend it... etc
Weird request I know but just wondering if it's possible,
Most of the hidden stuff won’t be hidden in the next update cause it’s been replaced by either reaction commands or the shortcuts in the case of locus skills.
The jump during a combo however is just a rising spiral / groundbreaker replacement which is present in the main game already. So it’s not really a hidden thing unless someone never read the abilities in kh3 😅

I would love if you did another formchange similar to this but with the Nobodies.There's not as many in the game compared to the Heartless, but it would be cool to see you do something with them.This form is also fucking sick btw.

One thing tho, i feel like xehanort is too "stationary" during the main combo, like everything spawns around him but he doesn't seem to move at all (sry if i'm not clear enough, i have a hard time finding the right words ^^')
my PC isnt extremely powerful and it didnt really affect performance at all :)
the stationary thing was on purpose. Inspired by how the Black Coat in DDD just stands there while casting stuff. I did add some custom arm and hand movements though so its not too boring ^^

I like how you turned the wraith into a suicide bomber, & LOVE the use of Darkside turning the tide of battle. Would you consider adding an option to keep the effect going throughout the battle if possible? Loking forward to the next big update!

The one one where when you summon Darkside the arena turns dark & big dark orbs randomly appear for a bit after the Darksides disappear. Have no idea how difficult it would be to code that for stopping at the end of a fight though. @@therecusant

This mod is so cool, when I have a break from my college work I am definitely going to try out this mod, it would be cool to see a nobody version of this, but that would be a lot harder because there are so much fewer of them, though is this capable with the collosium mod,

Unfortunately all the remaining weapon slots are already reserved. If I had to choose one more bonus form though and I had the space for it, I’d definitely love to do a sephiroth moveset!

@@urltwyce they don’t freeze ? They only freeze if you press the freeze button in addition. Unless you’re using a different version from mine
@@therecusanti would use a controller to turn the cam on which is why it probably freezes like how it do @ 5:03. Whats the shortcut key to turn it on with keyboard?
@@itsdayvee I use a controller aswell. And I froze that myself . I go into freecam by pressing both triggers but it only stops time when I want to by pressing the analog stick
