I think that it is because those bands just don't listen enough to black sabbath. Some bands get motivated with other bands that are already inspired by BS. So they get just a more "synthethic" and digested sound of what BS is about. I don't say it's wrong its just the way I picture it out with your comment. Mephistofeles is no exception anyways... but I hear what you mean.
