I had the idea to make some wooden "cloth" in the same style as a tambour door. I also thought it would be cool to have a bear skin rug made out of wood. So I made it! Using just glue, wood, and canvas, this is a very fun an easy build.
Just came from Reddit, this is such an awesome idea! Pretty inspiring actually.
thank you!
Why do you not have more subs I swear. You’ve got the personality and the charm, the projects are cool and interesting... really it’s a mystery
thanks so much, that's really nice of you to say! As for why I don't have more subs, honestly I don't know, haha! I guess tell your friends!
this is badass x100! Love it!
thanks man! its just so weird and fun i had to do it
I love this. I want a manbearpig one. 😂
Really loved this idea.
Glad to see you back!
What a great idea. Well done good Sir.
thank you!
Cool project........love the 2 minutes of “sleep sanding” at the end hahaha classic 💪🏼👊🏻💪🏼👊🏻
Hello my friend.
This is a very different beautiful project. You made the wood flexible like a fabric. It is decorative and stylish at the same time. Also useful. I watched with curiosity. We can use this for different purposes. Thank you for sharing. Congratulations. See you. Big greetings. Stay healthy and happy.
thank you so much for the most lovely comment ive ever received on UA-cam!
@@KeithDecent You're welcome. see you all the time. stay healthy and safe. Big greetings.
So fun! Turned out cool!
thanks! I love this weirdo thing
Nice one, it actually looks pretty comfortable!
Nice one. enjoyed watching and enjoyed your humour & honesty and you did it all without a CNC machine .. lol Thks
thanks! yeah if im gonna make more i will definitely be borrowing time on a friend's CnC
@@KeithDecent Tend to think that's cheating a bit eh ! What you do and the way you do it, gives some of us ' mere mortals ' a chance. To use a CnC machine, may of course be easier but to me, not envy-able. Each to their own I guess .lol thks
This so very artsy..not stupid at all. Ha, you said "bear foot". Also the sander caught your hair???
haha yeah but luckily very stylishly
Now glue tiles to a sport coat.
i actually have that project in the works haha!
Oh, I can't wait for the 10 hours of sanding version!
haha i think i had about that much footage of it
I love this! thanks for uploading it
Interesting project! And nice to see you enjoying sanding just as much as we all do :) Thanks!
I really like how this turned out. It reminds me of the wood bead seat cover my dad used to have. I too have been burdened by sanding millions of little pieces and wanted to throw them all in a bucket of sand and spin it around until they become smooth.
yeah it reminds me of the beaded chair cover too!
So creative as usual. Next, a lounge chair with a built in sander. Sand with your feet up. 😀 Great video. Mahalo for sharing!
haha thanks so much!
That bear looks great, such a cool idea and results!
Good to see a new project from you Keith, strange but brilliant work 👍👍
Stupid and uncomfortable is my bread and butter. PS. The inside of your shop reminds me of a mail jeep and I like that.
Very cool!
3:34, totally an artsy kind of shot!! Really cool project! It reminds me that I wanted to do a wooden tie in a similar way. Since I am now apparently working from home and no longer wear ties (or real pants for that matter) the project has gone on the back burner. But you may have inspired me to do it after all!
Keith, I hope this doesn't hurt your feelings, but my favourite part of this whole thing was from 8:15 to the end...
nice work! It was fun watching this on instagram. I feel like it might have been easier to work on a full piece of canvas and then trim it off when the shape was finished, is there any reason that would be a problem? My cat wasn't scared of the noise, he happened to be walking by my computer at that moment.
you could do it either way yeah
When I think bear skin rugs i think of Burt Reynolds. Thank you for not using him as your inspiration for the thumbnail photo!
tablesaw...guard? I have never had or used a table saw with a guard
What kind of glue u used?
regular wood glue
Very creative. Somehow I skipped to the end, thought, "boy, I'd like to see the build." Trigger warning:
I'm retarded, obviously.
Note from my 6 y/o son, following the build: it looks like a hamster, and what does derpy mean?
haha derpy means, well, derpy.
@@KeithDecent I told him to ask his mom, lol. Hopefully he doesn't remember to ask.
Raree..
😂😂😂
I feel uncomfortable and stupid all of the time!
excellent!
