On the occasion of World Disability Week The Learning Resource Center at DPS, Srinagar has made a small effort to help in understanding the life of children with special needs through this short film “My Special Journey“
The severity of one’s disability does not determine their level of potential. the greatest barriers that persons with disabilities have to overcome are not steps or curbs, it’s expectations.
The one's who are challenged, need to be heard. To be seen not as a disability, but as a person who has, and will continue to bloom. To be seen not only as a handicap but as a well intact human being.
