Coldplay always amazes me
1. Spreading Positivity and Love.
2. Sacrificing to improve the bigger picture (Like when they shared the super bowl stage with beyonce and bruno to spread the message of togetherness even though they knew that they wouldn't get the deserved credit)
3. Making good, beautiful and heartfelt songs with good lyrics.
4. Having such a 'Down to earth ' attitude.
5. Always participating in charity along with 10% of their profits going straight to various organizations
6. Engaging audiences in the live shows to let them enjoy their moments to the fullest.
7. giving tribute to various artists and respecting others (They covered a song of the band 'Viola Beach',(a young amateur band which got taken away in a car accident) in glastonbury.
8. Not reflecting ANY kind of sexual stuffs on their songs and videos
9. making the world a little bit more hopeful and together.
That's why I am in love with this band for almost 3 years. And I think I haven't passed a day without listening to their songs.

I don't agree with the 2nd Point, Sacrificing? not getting deserved credit? i don't think so, they were amazing and response was even better, and secondly they were asked to be on stage and given money(i don't know if they gave this money to charity or something and yea i know its for spreading a message but not for free and i don't hate them for that). This is Coldplay. This is what I became a coldplay fan for. Not the static cliche music. This music, Coldplay was unique, then they became cliche, now they're unique again. This is amazing
Chief_Sunboyz the b sides from the past few eras are all really good. some like you would say, why did they leave the most unique content off the album? I personally like the new content but I've seen a lot of people who don't vastly praise the b sides and non album songs in general from the past few eras
They are quite good but my point is that this is like the old Coldplay, the one I became a fan for. Like Ghost Stories. Sure A Head Full of Dreams is pretty good but it isn't as good and unique as this new song

They don't sing about money and cars. They sing about life - how difficult it can be and yet you can overcome each and every difficulty. In so many ebbs of my life, I have turned to Coldplay. I remember when I first heard this song. I was in the bath tub looking out the window, the clouds were pink and red, I thought it was beautiful but I felt this strange feeling inside. The morning after I was told that my aunt had died during the night. She was a colorful and warm person everyone loved. Everytime I hear this song I think of her. She passed way too early.❤

Coldplay does experiments with songs. That makes their songs fresh and unique. They never stuck on to cliches or the age old routine lyrics of "i love a beautiful girl and stuffs" . They are not afraid of being unique or different or non commercial. They won fans with their music, passion for it ,finding possiblities in it and the brilliant concert experience that they provide.

R M yup even if people might disagree, it is the reality. The reason they have such a huge following, is because they appeal to people from literally all parts of the world, from all walks of life. That's something that the Beatles were able to do. I'm not comparing both the band's music BTW.
Yes, exactly. They have a unique way of collaborating sounds and creating images in the listeners head that often has resolve and peace. Other times its joy and fun, I've listened to them for 17 years now (13 when I started) and I finally saw one of their shows last year in San Francisco and it was nothing short of great!

IMO this is one of the most underrated tracks Coldplay has released. The mix is great and the build up to the ending is very impressive. 10/10 kind of song you won’t find again!

I can see that. The ascending piano riff is reminiscent of O's riff.
To me, it's the guitar and piano during the first chorus that remind me of Gravity, and the melody of the verses feels/sounds very similar to Atlas. The piano in the background of the verses even feels like it could have been in Atlas, maybe during the parts where he sings "caught in the fire," etc.
Coldplay never stop leaving me amazed....
