I bought my stump anvil when I couldn’t afford a traditional anvil. Surprisingly I still use my stump anvil more than I use my regular anvil. By the looks of it you got yours from the same place I bought mine.

Very cool. I've seen the stumps used for doming, but I've never seen a stump anvil like that. Also, nice chill vibes to listen to while watching!

Thanks, Randy. I didn't have the funds to do a traditional anvil with a horn, but this was a decent compromise solution at around $140. Oldworldanvils.com has some really cool stuff. Thanks for your comment!

Great video man you have some good editing skills keep up the work and do some more videos over the stump anvil I'm thinking about making one but I don't know how it will do on medium sized projects

Thanks, Jacob. I'll definitely make some videos featuring the stump anvil. My first thoughts are that it is good quality, dense, hardened steel. Doesn't ring much at all. I do wish I had a horn/regular blacksmith anvil but didn't have the cash. Thanks again for your comment.

Folktopia you could make a bick horn out of 1 1/4 round and stick it in the stump with it I see that alot in the pictures of biking stump anvils
