My son and daughter-in-law vacationed there in 2023. They sent back lots of pics and videos. My favorite vid was when they were on Safari and crossed paths with a young bull elephant who stood his ground to protect his herd family. Thanks for this video.
I was there in early December. This is an amazing place. I saw 4 of the big five. Did not see any Leopard 🐆 but did see that in the second place I visited. The people and the food is amazing. I got to see my foster baby Khaynisa and her whole HERD. You won't regret going there.❤️🐘❤️
Im considered a (racist) by black Democrats, my white privilege makes me a target of hatred, in a white majority country, cant imagine the hate for whites in South Africa?
@@chadsimmons6347 I am not sure what this has to do with visiting S Africa. I was never treated badly by anyone I met while there. The people did not treat me or anyone else differently because of the color of our skin!!
Love it! Gorgeous! But I’d want to walk the bush with the HERD. I already feel like I personally know each elephant ! I wait for every new video posted of the elephants everyday lol so I’d literally rather sleep with the elephants! I had no idea how beautiful and perfect that lodge is! One day when this Covid S*it is over, I’d love to stay!
Hahaha, same here. I want to meet all of carers too. They have so much dedication to the HERD, especially our favorite little pink ele 🐘 I was just looking at their website and it's like $1150 a night per person
What a BEAUTIFUL lodge. From what I saw in the video it looks reasonably accessible too. I can stand and walk short distance with a walker but need my chair to go far but this looks very accessible.
Right. Jabulani himself is Sebake's second in command. Sebakwe is The Lord of his patch. Tokwe is The Matriarch of the herd, and she is not to be trifled with. Sebakwe and the other males are capable of calm diplomacy. Tokwe and her ladies, at the first sign of threat to the young elephants, become whirling dervishes of homicidal rage. Do NOT ever approach the females. Or the youngsters. Be told. I don't know which elephants are used for riding, it certainly isn't the Jabulani Herd. Sebakwe and Tokwe would never allow it.

ua-cam.com/video/PY1BCkZN27A/v-deo.html is the best for leopard sightings
@@Maldiviantraveller I did see a leopard when I went to Kruger National Park after I left Jabulani. Best experience of my life.

@@dorothywestcott2408 Really? Just take a nighttime stroll through the poor side of Johannesburg, let your family know where to send your remains.
