  • The biggest Classic bike show in the world, this is part 1 which looks at some of the vast array of stands and vendors outside the main buildings of the event. I could only cover a small part of the event, but this should give you an idea of what its like. As usual prices of classic bikes here go from high to extortionate..

Why did the new Triumph Bonnie's leave such a wide gap between their rear wheels and their fenders? I owned a couple in the States in the early 70's And I wouls not have bought then if they are the same today. I think it just ruins the look of a cruiser. Triumps were a great cruiser in the days as long as you could turn a wrench.

Great annual event, but in my opinion- just one big rip off.
The machines are worth nowhere near their asking prices, nor are the spares at the autojumble.

Its certainly not a place to buy a classic bike, I've found the odd bargain for odd ball spares. I was leaving late on Sunday, a lot of bikes for sale outside were still unsold.

@@Merch131ho Yes, money is very tight- and even many eBay bikes are not hitting their low reserves.
People just dont seem to have the money anymore.
I love and have owned many classic bikes, but the prices at shows such as Stafford are bordering upon the ridiculous.
