Yesss! Congratulations! 💪🏾💪🏾❤️
3 pounds in 3 weeks with hypothyroidism is a WIN!! Congrats!🎉
Which one are you taking? @alexafernandez
@@vanyalro5826 wegovy now im 10/12 pounds down and im in 1.0 doses
My insurance company told me they wouldn't cover it because I'm not diabetic and I was willing to pay the $550 with coupon. They covered it! Only paid $25 copay. So, let your pharmacy run it through your insurance even if they say they won't cover it.
Not sure why they covered it, but I'm not about to call and ask. I dont question gifts! 😂
My insurance don’t cover anything weight loss related. 😩
@geneialacole I totally understand your frustration. I'm not sure how my Mounjaro got covered because outside of one weighloss surgery for lifetime, they dont cover anything else ( including meds) for weightloss.
Have you been rotating your injection sites? I’ve discovered (and a lot of others too) that rotating injection sites actually helps a lot and allows you to stay on doses longer. I’m 6 months in and I’ve been on 7.5 for 3 months. 55lbs lost.
That’s so good! I actually planned on changing my injection site this week because I’ve been doing my thigh for like 3 months.
@@geneialacole rotate it every week! I swear it works!
@@geneialacole Defo change. Try your arm next
@@meganclareseyes it does and it’s can’t believe it
Congratulations! Thanks so much for sharing your journey! 😊
I just started Zepbound 2.5 today I’m excited to see how this goes
Good luck on your journey! ❤️
@andreaand_thegang7544 How were your first 2 weeks?
Update?!
Any update?
My insurance covers it at $25 a month with savings card. I am BEYOND blessed, I am a broke college age student so I would not be able to afford it otherwise. So blessed and grateful. ❤
This video is chefs kiss! Thank you
Thank you!! 🫶🏾❤️
Thank you! I appreciate all this information and how thorough you are.
You’re welcome!
I agree about changing to healthy habits. But realistically most people will have to be on maintenance doses long term even after reaching goal weight. Because our bodies no longer make those hormones (in the right quantities) on its own.
Very true.
Not necessarily. I was on Wegovy for a month last year and lost 27 lbs and didn’t gain any of it back. I’m on zepbound now going into month 3. The thing is you absolutely most eat. ALOT of people are starving them selves on these shots. So of course when they stop taking it the weight is gonna pack on because the body has been deprived. Personally I already lost a ton of weight on my own and already had good eating habits. I think that helped a lot going into this
THank you so much for all the information! I started out on 2.5 aug 28 lost 9 lbs my second box I went to 5mg lost nothing. So I am on 7.5 now I take my second shot this week I’m hoping to see more results!
You’re welcome!
Very informative and you didn't drag it out ..TY!
No problem!! 🫶🏾❤️
New to the channel and thanks for sharing 🎉🎉🎉
Welcome! Thanks for watching!
Great video! Thanks for that. So you said would you started Zepbound you weighed 285. I’m just wondering how tall you are? I started in March 2024 I weighed 203, I’m 5’6. As of today I weigh 167. And I couldn’t take my medication for two weeks because I had upper and lower eye surgery. And I didn’t gain any weight at all in those two weeks. I do my treadmill five days a week. I’m trying to start weight training but it’s hard for me because I had two strokes. So my right side is more than a little numb. Keep up the fantastic job you doing! God bless ✌💙
Thank you! I am 5’4.
@@geneialacole Thank you so much for answering me! Do you work out also? And how often?
@@sharkbites5472yes. I work out 4-5 times a week.
@@geneialacole that’s great! You’re doing everything right! It’s only a matter of consistency and time! Before you hit your goal weight! ✌💙
@@sharkbites5472for sure! Thank you! ❤
Thank you ,awesome video 💯❤
You’re welcome!
Hello,
What is the website to get the zepbound? I am ready to start my journey.
The coupon is on Eli Lilly’s website.
I’m starting today
Congratulations!
I was prescribed Mounjaro but my insurance wouldn’t cover. I would’ve had to pay 1,200 out of pocket. I was then prescribed Qysima and was paying 200 monthly but that wasn’t working for me. My doctor sent pre authorization for Zepbound and it was approved. My O-O-P is now under 30 dollars. I think the fact that they was able to record my attempts with Metformin and Qysima worked in my favor. I’m a PCOS girlie too. I try to tell people I can’t just work out and loose weight. I need to regulate my hormones and how my body processes sugar.
That’s so good to hear. Congratulations!
Thanks for sharing g how much weight you lost on each dose most UA-camrs don’t that …❤ and congrats ..can you share side effects experience on each dose
Yes. I can upload a video about that! No problem.
Hi, did you feel any vision changes with Tirzeptide ?
Hey! No I do not.
So I weighed today after taking my second shot and I noticed I lost 7lbs.I started at 322 and I’m now 315,but I honestly haven’t felt any appetite suppressant.I don’t feel like I’m not hungry and I don’t feel like I’m hungry.I guess what I was expecting I didn’t see it,but it was also that time of the month.Ill take the 7lbs lost and keep moving but I was expecting what most people share in their experienced.I only had headache once and that was it and mild nausea, also on my first week I didn’t eat healthy nor exercise, but I did eat a lot of mangoes because I just wanted mangoes all the time.Any tips?I would appreciate it.
This is my exact journey and this is also how I feel. I have an appt on the 30th. I’m gonna ask to go up to 5mg. It’s been 3 weeks and I’m down 4 lbs, making my weight now 307. It feels like I’m fighting an uphill battle. This is very frustrating.
If you are on 2.5mg that’s honestly a building dose to get the medication in your system. Check with your doctor. I can’t remember how I felt on 2.5.
Don’t get discouraged. I’m telling you it’ll be worth it. Celebrate all your losses. I lost 6 pounds on 2.5 so you’re definitely on the right track.
@@angelabartley1973 well I was surprised 7lbs came off even though it’s water weight.Im gonna see what this week brings but if not satisfied I’m gonna try the terzepatide which is the generic to zepbound because I’m on the semaglutide (ozempic).
I think you try the entire month and if you’re not satisfied see if they can change it.Wish you all the best.
How long were you on each dose? How much weight have you loss?
1 month most doses. 2 months for some. I’ve lost a total of 75-80 pounds fluctuating.
Do you have to be a certain weight to take this ?
I’m not sure. It depends on what your doctor says. The medication is for obesity so I’m guessing you have to be a certain BMI.
34+ BMI
What is the manufactured coupon you used?
Eli Lilly..
@@geneialacole
I got the manufacturer coupon from the Zepbound website. I pay $550 a month using the coupon.
Did you have to change birth control?if you use birth control what form?
I don’t use birth control.
Heyyy… How tall are you ?
Hey. I’m 5’4.
Fatigue is real for me lol ugghhhh
Seriously. Lol.
I was willing to pay the $550 as well lol some pay more so the $25 coupon won’t work for you Sis?
It’s only $25 if your insurance covers it. 😩
@@geneialacole mine cover it and it wasn’t $25 I believe it went up w/ Zeb. 5mg MJ was always my girl. I would suggest ppl go to a board certified endocrinologist they do the foot work most primary care doesn’t want to be bothered as for them that’s there specialty. Grrt video sis I’m still waiting on the links 🤣💋
Y’all let your congress know that prior authorization is crazy/money grab, People out here dying because they have to jump through hoops for their meds😢
