This song was just one voice in the massive sea of voices expressing their love for a game that was meant to bring people together in the most wholesome way possible. This song was a fist breaking through the barrier of time and shouting louder than a wave of sound, and shining brighter than a Galaxy. I played Minecraft since I was four. I am twelve currently, I have been through a lot of things and it always hurts to just hear that Minecraft music ringing in my ears. Everything was better back then, but now, everything has fallen apart. Only a small percentage of my age will understand. I am a proud, willing female Minecraft veteran.

Gosh, this song used to be one of my favorites. I guess it still is. When I stopped playing Minecraft I just forgot about all my favorite UA-camrs and these songs, but today I was looking through a box of stuff that I had put in the way back of a shelf in my closet, and inside was all of my Minecraft merch. My signed BajanCanadian hoodie, my signed hoodie postcard, my signed Super League Gaming shirt, my signed foam iron sword (a lot of signed stuff lol), my CaptainSparklez shirt, my mini figures, posters, plushes, clothes, drawings, you get the point. After looking through all of my stuff I went on UA-cam and looked at some of the more recent videos from the UA-camrs I used to watch, and even though it's only been about a year, they've all changed so much, and watching them and listening to all of the Minecraft songs I used to sing all the time just brought back so many memories. I used to play Minecraft all day and all night, with these songs blasting through my headphones. Sometimes me and a few friends would get together or just Skype and go on servers and have so much fun. And on some days I'd spend hours watching BajanCanadian, CaptainSparklez, SkyDoesMinecraft, and more. But one by one, people stopped playing it, and it was suddenly "uncool" to have anything to do with Minecraft. People would tease you if they saw you playing it on your phone, or if you were wearing a Minecraft shirt. I thought that it was amazing that those people that did still play it could admit it, even though everyone else considered it lame. I could've played it without anyone knowing, but it would've made me feel so guilty to not admit it and to hide it. It just shows how concerned some people are with popularity and their reputation, and I hate to think that I was one of those people, or at least acted like one of them. I gave up something I loved just so I wouldn't be made fun of. So I guess all I'm really trying to say here is that you shouldn't care what other people think (I know, that's such a cliche), especially if it means quitting something you love. And if you feel like you just wasted two minutes (not even) of your life reading this I apologize.

I was 11 first listening to this song, now I'm 17 about to turn 18. I know 6 years isn't a lot, but the way I view the world will never be the same again. Back when I was listening to this song, there was the yogscast, Team Crafted, Tobuscus, and I loved watching them all and didnt care about anything. No relationships, no college prep, nothing. I was just content. Now I'm dealing with seeing violence and how the real world really is. I would give anything to go back to how I was when I was younger, ignorance is bliss.

Snivy 123 Yeah, I first started playing on PC back in update (I think) 1.0, really good times, now the game has turned into something else, but I get a short nostalgic moment when I play Minecraft or listen to a original Minecraft song, dunno if anyone else experiences the nostalgia like I do, but man oh man I think that everyone who played the game before late 2012 can agree that is was it fun playing back then.

Ok so lyrically, and the melody itself are actually a work of musical genius. No one realizes how hard it is to make something great, you always get an idea. But until you try it yourself you’ll never know the lengths some of these people went to to put a smile on your face..
This man has a voice that I just love to hear all the time, he hits all those notes with perfect, I've never heard such a beautiful voice. Like it can even combat some singers now a days.

I cant believe this is 11 years old now. Me and my brother used to love this song as kids. I still very vividly remember playing it with him while we played with our ducklings on the porch.
I remember watching this in 2017 being 14 when I finally got out of my native shitty country and moved to Portugal to have a better new life alongside with my family. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to listen this earlier than that because my native country didn't had internet, but just like everyone else, I took this song to my heart and loved it like it was my life. Still remember all the struggles I had as a kid and teenager, but this song hugged me and kissed my forehead like it was my parent and understood my feelings better than my biological ones. Of course, with the time passing, I started to hear new songs, finding new Minecraft parodies (both old and new) that I slowly ended up forgetting this one, but 2020 was an impactful year for many people, and so I remembered my old memories and this song back on that year. Tears started to fall from my eyes because of how meaningful the song was to me.
Nowadays, I am 20yrs old and I can say that after so many struggles and issues I was suffering from (even before the age of 14), I have found the light; I forgave myself and embraced that inner child that was so scared and now it isn't. This song didn't failed to remind me of how warm it is like you're getting the most genuine hug of the world. I, one day, intend to share this song with my girlfriend and share with her the same feeling I have with this song, so it's not just going to be romantic feelings. I want her to feel the warmth, the accepting and welcoming feeling that resembles unity from this song just like I did.

I used to listen to this song back when I was 12-13 when Minecraft began to hit it's stride. Here I am now at 22, Minecraft is one of the biggest games ever to the point Steve got into Smash.
