I'm Posting these to track my progress as a rider, not really for entertainment. I think it will be neat to look back in a year to see the improvements I've made over time. My goal is to get 50 hours of seat time this year and enter my first race. This is my 7th time on the bike with 8.7 hours of total seat time at the start of this video. I'm very aware that my skill level sucks and I'm open to suggestions on drills and ways to improve! You guys all ROOOCK and I hope you have a great week 🤘

Jay and I do not advocate riding without a helmet - no excuses.
he wouldve started out the ride doing 100 pushups for forgetting his helmet 🤣🤣
@@867diesel lmao
hell yeah keep it up! I just bought an enduro bike last week (first motorbike ever) and it will be ready hopefully in the next couple days, these vids have made me think about keepig a record of my progress as well. so excited for the challenge!
Congrats on your new bike and I'm glad I could inspire you to keep track of your progress
Looks like cool place to ride we have a lot of rocky trails here in Northeastern Pa and areas with silt and nice hills but those trails look mint 👌🏻
Looking good. I think you've mastered the flat sand track. Is there some sick PA single track nearby you could ride? With roots, rocks, ledges etc.... That'll get the skills built up fast.
Far from mastered, but I do want to start hitting other spots. There was an entire single track spot that we hit in this video which was in the time lapse unfortunately and it for sure was more difficult than the other trails here.
Can def see your starting to find your flow, just keep standing up my boy off the rip and challenge yourself to stay standing for a period of time, even in the tight slick stuff💪🏾💪🏾 momentum is def coming along for ya ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾your ringing the gears out she sounds miiiiiint🤝🏾 please try power shifting tho I promise you’ll love the transition minus the clutch blip when wfo🤞🏾🤞🏾 keep on keepin on buddy 🫡🔥🔥🔥 that sugar down there is calling my name ahahaha
Thanks man! No clutch slip during powershifting? I don't think it will go into gear at WOT unless I slip the clutch just a touch?
@@MichaelSaboEXTRA I’m still riding the same top end on my rm250 from rebuild in 2022, i only pull clutch leaving first/landing neutral and or for true luggin single trail tight tight lines. And even then I still don’t use my clutch rather manipulate throttle and save my clutch as much as possible . But I promise it won’t hurt it at all, think of a truck big or or normal driver, and floating gears not using the clutch pedal . All you have to keep in mind is throttle position when you float em. I’ll be mid third gear, 3/4 throttle as I’m reaching the head of 3rd I’ll let off of throttle, click up into 4th and resume throttle modulation … I’ve done this on every bike I’ve ever ridden in the last 7 years, idk why but ever since I got my rm it just came natural .. down shifting too, just let off of throttle click up or down and modulate throttle accordingly … so technically yes you won’t be fully cocked wfo since you let off, but once your timing gets better with it, you’ll be faster then with the clutch 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
Sounds like the bike needs re-jetted, in my opinion, but other than that, I've seen a lot of improvement since the first video. Keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻
Your pretty damn good on a bike mike
He forgot his helmet but I am almost 100% sure he did not forget his cigarettes 🤣🤣🤣 Priorities, right? Ps, it is good etiquette when riding trails and passing someone to signal them how many riders in your group.
How many hours can you put on a new kx250 4 stroke before a top end rebuild? Awesome content
I think it would depend how you ride it and maintain it. If you're going all out racing, it's going to have a shorter life I'm sure.
Do you still have the yz125? Should ride that next
Yes! I do plan to take that out now that I can actually ride it.
Ridding the yz250 do you think its a bit much for a begginers bike?
For an actual beginner, like no experience on a quad or anything with a clutch, I'd say it might not be a good idea. But if you know how to ride a street bike or quad, I think a YZ250 can be grown into as long as you respect the power. Definitely a well tuned/maintained one though - a 2 stroke that's not right can be a bad day 😂
Where are these trails ?
How you fell about kx250 after you buy it
I love it man. I'm sure if I had the opportunity to ride other models I might like them better but realistically, this thing is great especially now that I'm getting used to it - makes great power!
Man the 250 really sounds good in the high RPMs
I agree man, especially for stock
You should grab yourself a little shovel sometime and build a couple little jumps
Hell yes! This is a great idea
gear , food , bike . how do you forget the helmet ? he wouldve been doing 100 pushups before riding 🤣🤣..... for real !
When we got back to my house, it was sitting on the side of the driveway, right where we loaded. Definitely will never happen again if I'm there lol.
@@MichaelSaboEXTRA he will forever be clowned on for that lol
