Joel, how often are you adjusting your fin set up? I've got the Connelly GTR and went from Radar double boots to the reflex binding and an HRT toe plate. big adjustment, but love it already. Also, any advice on position of hard shell? more forward, more back or stay neutral?
I have a D3 EVO (im 55Y) in my younger days I always ski'ed on Connelly - Q: Is the Connelly GT-R harder to ski (lower in the water)? It gets more and more important because in my age I don't have the same strength as I used to
IMO the D3 is wider than the GTR, at same size (eg 67 vs 67). I ride a 67 D3 I & should have gone with with a 68" GTR for same area. The GTR doesn't have any more drag or line load vs the D3.
