At the full price, consider your priorities and budget. If having a tiny, bullet-style set is your goal, then Dumpling or Little-Q are nice sets. If you are new to the in-ear world and want to get a taste of it without committing to an around-the-ear IEM, again Dumpling is a nice starter set.

These are so good I love them.
Yeah, I think KBEAR hit a sweet spot in this design. It was more popular than their more expensive recent releases.
Nice review as always...any chance of Rosefinch review? Not in a hurry to pick up anything yet after my S12 with pac480 cable setup nearly endgame for me. But looking for some special sets like rosefinch for basshead perhaps.
Yeah, I have a Rosefinch and bought a set of the TRI wide tips to try along with it. Rosefinch looks like a bassy boy so I don't think its going to come close to your S12.
I am using both earbud EB2S & VE MONK PLUS 5. Should I buy this for enjoying ASMR video?
That works, its a tiny set
These could be really good for outdoor use. The elevated bass would help a lot when using them outdoors
I know exactly what you mean as I wear tws outside and do prefer more of a V shape for that reason.
I finally found a replacement for the klipsch x10. Because its design. It has the same "direct" listening experience.
It may seem strange to those who have not experienced it. The sound feels like it's literally directly on your eardrums. Very small soundstage but they still have good imaging.
This is a very good ASMR IEM. At least under $200 I have not found any other one better than this.
I think most people who don't feel anything about ASMR is because they have never tried IEMs that have this "direct" listening experience.

I would describe those high notes as extra sparkly/glittering/shimmering...?
It may be a little bit tingly. But it's not as unpleasant as excessive sibilant on some headphones.
There were a few bullet sets around the same time and most were very good considering their price and performance. It was odd, a bunch of good sets and then nothing until KZ did Ling Long. But yeah, someone absolutely figured out how to manufacture high quality 6mm drivers and those are also what you are seeing with the dual DD sets also.
@@PaulWasabii I hope they don't just make these really low cost things.
I would be happy to pay a little more for a version that could replace the cable.
These stocked cables are just...I doubt how long they will last.
Do u prefer this or little q?
Probably Dumpling but these small driver sets are hard to compare. I'd probably choose the cheaper option and enjoy it.
@@PaulWasabiiin the end I decided to go for the little Q as it was only a dollar more and I read that third party tips don’t go well with the dumplings. Thanks for the help tho
I just got these for free as a gift from a seller on ebay because of a long delay in shipping me some other headphones that cost almost 20x the price of these.
I just can't believe they sound so good on my sony mp3 player. These major audio companies have been ripping us off for years, nothing this cheap should sound so good and I can sleep with them.
I do believe KBEAR stumbled onto a driver that really works well in that type of shell. I don't know if that was their original intention, but it really was the right combination for them.
Looking to spend 15 - 20 $. What's your recommendation
Salnotes Zero if you are looking for something clean, Tangzu Wan'er if you want something a bit more fun.
@@PaulWasabii Where do you rank the Moondrop CHUs? Are the Zeros Tangzu or possibly CHUs good for metal?
Thanks
too much bass for my liking but i like bullet styles, they are usually pretty comfy to sleep with
True. It is one of those sets where I assumed the 6mm DD and the measurement wouldn't exactly match, but it does have a good amount of bass. Likeable, but not sure for sleeping.
Bro the graph looks horrible
Stabbing peek at 8k 10k and Boomy too 🤣
8k is coupler, but as I mentioned, people are either buying the $9usd version because it is cheap fun or you are looking for this style. If you are comparing on sound quality, plenty of other sets in the $20usd range. This one is appealing for specific reasons, not so much as an upgrade to something you have.
@@PaulWasabii I heard lot of Sibilance sharp treble in CRA ZSN pro X ZST X
And those don't have no treble peeks according to you on the frequency graph?
It's just the coupler? 😹
@No I don't know... All of the Chinese IEMs I've tried yet all of them are complete trash and joke
7Hz salnotes zero to Chu CRA EdX ultra etc etc
Only blon Bl03 was better sounding than them all
But fitting is horrible 😂
@@Smzxe I think you just like warm V shape signature. Chu and Zero is harman(bright) neutral. Edx Ultra and CRA is bright V shaped with treble boost. Blon 03 is basically that and doesn't much treble presence. Could also be that you re treble sensitive.
@@Smzxe you are not choosing on the type of sound you like. You might want to try something like KZ ESX, Mele, T3 Plus, Aria, maybe even EDA balanced too. You sound like a bass person.
