I believe the retirement crisis will get even worse. Many struggle to save due to low wages, rising prices, and exorbitant rents. With homeownership becoming unattainable for middle-class Americans, they may not have a home to rely on for retirement either.
Got it! Buying stocks during a recession when prices are down could be a good move. You might get them at a lower price and sell later when they go up. Just do your homework and be aware of the risks before diving in!

Hey, Craig! Loved this video "Living in Charlotte North Carolina". Your great insights have been incredibly informative for both locals and those considering a move to this vibrant city. Keep up the great work in helping people discover the best of Charlotte! Your UA-cam / Real Estate Colleague, Roger Holloway
This is the best Charlotte NC video I’ve seen. Your Lake Wylie video is excellent too. I moved to Charlotte in 2007. I’m so grateful that I moved here when the homes were still very reasonably priced. The River District will be next popular new community. Charlotte has done an amazing job with master planned communities. The prices have increased. Having come from a major city, I can say that even with increased prices you still get more bang for your buck.
Thank you for the kind words, Lisa. Yes, Charlotte is a great place to live and they have done a great job with development. You are correct, Charlotte is still at 92% of the national average for cost-of-living. We will continue to make videos about different areas in and around Charlotte. Thank you so much for watching.
@@betylopez2385 I live in Charlotte. My only son is now 28 so I cannot speak with authority on the school system. I had him in private school for middle school because kids lacked discipline and the school administration was useless. Will you be buying a home? If you are planning to rent here do know that it’s expensive and a bit of a nightmare if you are not renting on the very high end. Since you have children I’d look into Raleigh and some of the new developments there. The city has great parks museums, libraries etc. Also, Greenville, SC is great. Charlotte is great if you plan to buy in a well established neighborhood. Check the crime stats.
Thank you for the kind words. We appreciate you watching and hope it was helpful. Be sure to let us know if you ever need help with any of your real estate needs. More new videos coming soon. Thanks again!

Thank you for this very informative video. I am relocating from New York to North Carolina or Florida. I wanted a place where I could still have lots to do during retirement and you have open my eyes up to Charlotte.
Thanks for watching… North Carolina is a great place to retire. Plenty of options for you and plenty of things to do. We also get many people that have moved to Florida and wind up moving back up north to North Carolina. Reach out to us if you have additional questions. We’d love to help you.
Charlotte is a very beautiful city. But the infrastructure needed to be thought about before all the apartment and townhouse building. The traffic is ridiculous now. And unaffordable to most living here now. It’s good for those coming from the northeast and west because their $’s go much further than those who have been here forever.
Hi Alene Yes, downtown Matthews is a great area. We tried to keep this video within the Charlotte address for this video. I’m sure we will feature Matthews in a future video. Thank you for watching.

I am so mad at you Craig - at first I thought this video would give me a better understanding of where I want to live in Charlotte once I relocated. This video mad the whole of Charlotte seem amazing now I am more confused on a area. I was told that East Charlotte is not so good area: What are your thoughts?

Thanks to all these realtors property in Charlote is unaffordable. Locals were forced to move somewhere else. Now Charlotte that used to be an affordable place for buying property is as expensive as the big cities. So sad.

Is it true about snakes all over charlotte and the outskirts? We’re thinking about moving to Charlotte from Long Island but the snakes situation might be a deal breaker for my wife
Hey Roderigo… Thanks for reaching out. There are snakes that live in the Charlotte area but you rarely see them. They are afraid of you. The closer to the city you get the less likely you will ever see one. I live about 40 minutes outside of Charlotte and I have only seen two snakes in, the 15 years I’ve lived here.
@@CharlotteLivingLifestyle thank you for responding Craig! Another question :) is Charlotte a good place to raise a family? We’re in the mid 30s and want to have our first baby most likely next year but I’ve heard Charlotte is great for young professionals, not sure if I’m still within that category lol
Yes Sir. I have 3 kids and they love the Charlotte area. There are so many great places to visit in the Charlotte area with your kids. The cost of living here in the Charlotte area is less than the national average as well.
I've lived in Charlotte for about 4ish years and I've only ever seen like 2 snakes also. They also weren't at my house, I play a lot of disc golf and saw them in the woods. Fun fact! Charlotte is also one of the top cities in the country for disc golf, which is seeing a huge resurgence since Covid. And there are tons of courses located all over town!
Thinking about moving to Charlotte and this video is absolutely perfect, my mind is blown. I rarely even comment on UA-cam videos. Honestly, if you made videos like this for cities across the country then I think your channel would blow up like crazy. Maybe a side hustle for you to think about? I think about moving all over and if I saw your channel pop up I'd instantly click.
