leveling in the shadows games is based off of combat, recruiting/killing captains and missions. Any uruk higher level than you has more resistance to damage and of course, can't be recruited unless you shame them to a level lower than your own. on top of that, the level system itself has like half a dozen trees of multiple skills that can be mixed and matched at any time depending on the weaknesses of your targets, like poison, ice and fire. The game can get really hard on max difficulty, as TOG shows. Requiring you to study your targets and learn their weaknesses but eventually you can gain powers to exploit captains and manipulate them.
Also, if I remember correctly, at least for shadow of Mordor, he played the whole game without using most skills (either that or with base equipment, not sure)
This was a new one for me. I've never seen a reaction channel react to another person playing a game. Not that I'm complaining since I love ToG especially his SOW and SOM series they're both amazing so this is a win for me.
I haven't played this game in forever (apparently last time played was December 2nd 2017) and kinda miss it (not going back to play it since I have other games to play like Hogwarts Legacy, Redfall and back to doing stuff in Warframe). I kinda hope they make more of these games expanding on the converting/destroying an army of interesting characters. I don't think I touched the dlc in it because to my knowledge it was playing as other characters that weren't as cool or interesting as Talion (I didn't remember his name or how to spell it).

Ooh, gotcha. I was wondering how the shame thing worked

Been loving these reactions. This game is so in depth with it's nemesis system
UA-cam has begun to recognize that this is something that should be on my home page good job
So, care to check out Edit:Ed's Shadow of War series, perhaps? If you like ToG, you'd like that one, too.
Love these videos
