Somebody said they think dbd is going to start leaning more into the horror aspect with killers and such and I am excited to think so too
With the way the game plays it will never be a horror game again, as much as I want it to the entire community is too competitive and sweaty to make it scary, the only thing scary is watching all five gens pop within two minutes.

It still is a horror game. No game no matter what will be constantly 'ooh scary' after a community dumps thousands of hours into a game that has been in a 5+ year gamecycle. Further, it's not an exclusively horror game, that would be something like Amnesia, Outlast, Dead Space, GTFO, and others like it. The closest argument that can be made is that it's horror aesthetic, not horror themed, but it's still there.
@@MelancholicBubblegum it doesn’t matter, you may have one or two games out of a hundred that could “scare” you like a mirror Myers, but that relys on the other player just having fun, which as we all know fun is illegal in dbd, the game has the horror theme but it does a terrible job of employing it to actually be a horror game, it’s just not gonna be a good horror game with the community and the way it plays.

Once again I will repeat myself, it succeeds until you play it too much, and then when you reach that point, it is just an action focused game with horror elements.

You should try an aura-reading build similar to P-Head to get the drop on survivors and snipe them with the projectiles:
- Nowhere to Hide
- Lethal Pursuer
- I’m All Ears
- Eruption, Alien Instinct, and some other aura reading perk

I thought this chapter would be mid but it's actually great. The killer is deceptively lethal, and the surv perks are fun. The map is awesome, just wish chases would go to main side a bit more than they do

Story time: Me and a couple of my friends were playing custom matches and it was my turn to play as killer and I decided to play as spirit since she's my best killer (I don't have the Unknown yet which is the only reason I didn't play him) and I set my built as DMS, Haunted Ground, No Way Out, and Grim Embrace. I chased after the 2 bots first before finally finding my friends. I chase them once each and they dc 😂

I tried that one perk that makes you undetectable when standing still for two seconds trying to fool the survivors. I don’t know if it works or I’m just lucky but I have been tricking a lot of people to walk up to me thinking I’m an illusion. I’m very curious if the animation is different between the hallucination and me idling.

That first iri sounds incredibly weak compared to other killers iris
I would change it to something like being injured from the uvx blast inflicts broken for 10 (+2.5 seconds for each active hallucination) to encourage a hit and run style of play.
I feel like a hit and run play style would benefit him so much seeing as his only counter is being looked at.

Unknown is overpowered what can you do against it ?? You can’t loop because you’ll get hit with its puke grenade launcher . And it can teleport. This thing is uncounterable
Maybe adapt your playstyle instead of trying to loop killers that can easily turn a loop or tile into a clean and quick death trap FYI?
@@not_purgatory310he needs to be toned down, the teleport is the best teleport in the game and his hit box for his power is way too big it can even hit you through walls, almost every surviver game is a give up

Killers have to be oppressive, considering this is a 1vs4 game and the balance / power scale need to be tilted toward the killer. Or maybe you want the game to be a Lobby Queue Simulator like how it was a few years ago (before the patch 3.7.0 arrived that shaked up a lot of things)?

This killer seems too strong, pallets are a waste of time, I'm not sure what survivors are meant to do apart from run and even when they do run away they get downed by a big purple bomb or even a teleport, I'm mainly a killer but this feels a bit unfair and can't be much fun being a survivor playing against this, can see him getting nerfed pretty soon.
