Nice ship. Looks solid.
She Beatiful, thanks for sharing !
For a rough & rowdy working girl, she has beautiful lines.
totally awesome little ship!
I would give my right arm for that beauty. Absolutely love it.
we'd prefer cash actually! lol. thanks for watching...
i'm a multi millionaire and a bit of a freak. how about we spin a coin. you win you get the boat, you lose we get your arm removed in pakistan and i take ownership?
Really Nice Trawler looks Good 2 !! Wonder what the inside looks like ?? Good Luck, B Safe and lots of Fun on the water !!!
A North sea trawleer is a fishing vessel used to commercial fish in the north sea. This is a pleasure craft with a displacement hull.
It is also a term used to describe a heavy displacement pleasure craft with an aft superstructure and an open fwd. deck. Thanks.
@@boattguyafloat incorrectly used term.
@@susanhenderson2322 Happy to differ have a great day!
What’s a Trawleer?
That's a new one paint blown off by to many anodes as, he, said steel was, smooth underneath, I think the gives you the real reason keep up guys
beautiful.
Very Solid boat and design for rough water , heck yeah Id buy it,
Right on
We have a 38 foot lobster boat that's a freaking monster beautiful curves on that
2:25 I can see some "tear drops" on the blue part on the trawler.
Looks like a real boat unlike most of the ugly glass phony boats you see these days.
That's a cool boat!
Thanks it’s fun to run
@@boattguyafloat Wayne want to get in touch now please
@@williamryan4645 ok...
It has potential
Well what's the asking price ?
Check your anodes ? Looks like the galvanic protection was not maintained . This is something that most skippers don't know much about I my experience!
We blasted and painted her groom keel to gunwale there was no corrosion galvanic or otherwise. The hull guard bracket was corroded so we removed it and plated over. Vessel has an isolation transformer
Where the paint was blown off is a result of having too many anodes.paint over a couple and that will stop them from reacting.when the others are worn down simply grind the paint off the zincs and they will reactivate.there is a special science in getting the right amount of anodes on a boat
Quite right, I knew of an admiral who had his yacht in a naval yard. He got whatever he wanted and he had anodes from stem to stern. Could not keep a bit of paint on the boat. Got the paint makers down and that was the problem.
more likely where a boat stand was positioned during the last haul out.
What price is she going for
I believe you are mistaken that it was built by Allied Shipbuilders, unless she has had a whack of changes.
well there are numerous photos of her in the shed there, and afloat semi complete with the 2nd narrows bridge looming over...
@@boattguyafloat it was brought to Allied as two half hulls, and as an "owner build" it very nearly caused the first labour strike in over 65 years of business as the "owner" wanted to bring in his own crew. A compromise was reached but to claim she was built by Allied is not true at all. Am the steel foreman and was there at the time
@@snowgorilla9789 that’s right. It was transported down the Coq. In half’s Unfinished and assembled and finished at allied. Sorry for your labour issues.
Nice looking boat but a very odd layout and not much room for the size. Needs some time in the shipyard. I would like to see what the new owners do with it.
You and me both!
She is a Fine Looking Vessel best of luck on the sale. I imagine she will do that quickly
thank you!
How much
Think about the guys who shore and move that beastie
uh that would be me...
"Keel cooled" and an engine water intake??
yes it is not a dry exhaust
Thanks
@@boattguyafloat I still don;t get it. Not really a boat person. I think I get the dry and wet exhaust meaning that it exits above or below the water line. But Keel Cooled still confuses me.
Keel cooling is a closed loop water system that runs fresh water and antifreeze through the engine and then is cooled by the ocean running over a hollow keel when the water is pumped from the engine and returned in a cooler state.the thermostats control the engine temperature.the wet exhaust system has a sea water jacket that helps cool the exhaust before the exhaust gases are released under water.
@@peterhazelwood9325 Thank you for taking the time to explain that. So the keel acts as a radiator of sorts. That would save the trouble of pumping lake water through a heat exchanger.
No links for follow up.
check back the info to the other videos and links have been added thank you.
@@boattguyafloat Thank that helps the review process.
I am hoping to retire to a live aboard.
@@tjs4689 welcome, good luck!
how much please

Who do I contact if I'm interested in buying this boat
H Kelly sorry but we sold the boat. The new owner is refitting to his taste. We will amend the videos to provide this info.
@@boattguyafloat Cheers
How much do you want for the boat?
Hi you can click the yachtworld link below the video for full details, have a great day!
@@boattguyafloat thanks so much:-)
@@amyrzoska7 you’re most welcome
Sorry, not for $340K........ nice craft though
Like the style but the pilot house is too high above the water
Great visibility for maneuvering I found but agree she would benefit from a main deck docking station to save running down the stairs.
That is NOT a north sea trawler!.
It's the style, get a life.
Where the hell is the price
Jack- the vessel sold over a year ago.
You aint trying to sell this aye ..cause all you do is talk about nothing..wanted to see inside and better detail
are you serious? You've seen the other two videos, aye?
I'm just not a fan of the North Sea style of her.
Agree, it’s not for everyone, but I quite like it.
@@boattguyafloat The hate I get for stating that about the Nordhavn's with the North Sea Style is funny though.
Huge, tall, full beam superstructure sitting at the stern with a long empty deck in front of it just looks to be asking to capsize. ( Nordhavn 62/63, 67/68 )
Even though they are properly ballasted the look just makes me think they are designed to capsize and nope.
10k and not a penny more.
