When Kanami sat down near Miku before Miku's lead vocal, the story goes she was trolling Miku since she flubbed her lyrics at a previous show. The other cool thing about this song is the way MISA and Kanami were free ranging the entire song, they were all over the stage. I think this is because the band finally went wireless, giving them "Freedom" to roam the stage.....................see what I did there.
The freedom to roam is totally true and that lead to the fact that if you pay close attention, At one point Misa and Kanami need to do Pedal switch configuration on each of their instruments, so MISA is placed at Kanami's pedal board and Kanami is at MISA'S pedal board and both are switching the other persons configuration to their needed configuration. Is very impressive to do your guitar LICK job and at the same time manage the other persons pedal board, but It's BAND MAID, expect the unexpected.
It's like the unknown quality of unseen things we know nothing about because it's invisible to nothing we understand... wait... what, did you say again? 🤔
Backup? She formed the band. She has songs of her own. Much more than just a Backup Singer! I sentence you to watch all 3 of her documentary videos. Enjoy!

The Maids performing one of their (two) most performed songs: Freedom and Real Existence. The Maids in this MV are pure perfection, aren't they? I mean, what can you fault? Countless rock musicians have striven their whole careers attempting to get this good, but this is just the beginning for the "Maids". What they are doing now is a whole nother level or two.
MISA-san and Kanami-san usually change places during the performance of Freedom. Each of them will run to the other side's position or even interact with the crowd.
Always enjoy your reactions guys, great that you got around to this classic, that drum solo is next level. Not sure how many times I've listened to this track but each time is like the first. There's no doubting that Band Maid are top of the tree on the Japanese rock scene right now but I'd like to suggest you give Koiai a listen. A relatively new, all-female band featuring some incredible musicianship. I've heard them described as a Japanese supergroup and their most recent release, "Come See Me", is worth checking out. Keep up the great work :)
