"Keep Going" a personal reflection (and reminder)

You might be a working musician... or maybe you've just begun the musical journey. Maybe you're a videographer. A writer. A content creator. Or any number of things.
Lao Tzu once said: "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." You've taken that first step. And the next. And so on. You've visualized your passion. You've embraced actions and disciplines. You've taken those things and set them into motion, to take the intangible and bring it into reality. But what's more, you've tasted the fruits of accomplishment, rewards that those bound to comfort may never experience.
But somewhere along the journey - with anything worth doing - you find yourself facing challenges. As you move forward, you find that what lies ahead is far more involved than where you've already been. There's struggle. Risk. Sacrifice. There are objections. Obstacles. Maybe you've hit a wall that you can't seem to get beyond. Maybe you've faced those harsh circumstances that life seems so fond of. Maybe you've faced loss.
Maybe you're overwhelmed. Maybe you feel tired. Or frustrated. Maybe you're at a crossroads where you wish you could just walk away... and yet that voice inside, and that yearning to become the best version of yourself, remains. In the face of all you're going through it screams, "Keep going."
In this life, it's not always sunshine and roses. There will be rain... but without rain, true growth is nearly impossible.
In every circumstance there's a chance to grow. With every challenge comes the potential for increased perspective. With every obstacle comes increased knowledge as you learn to overcome it.
We are creatives. We are artists. We've been given a gift that we must never take for granted. May we continue onward in the pursuit to fulfill our callings. May we strive to impact the world around us. May we strive to inspire future generations. May we move forward. May we never give up. As long as there is air in our lungs, we are unstoppable. Think about that. And to say again...

Thank you for those VERY kind words :) When I originally finished this particular video, I struggled with whether I'd post it or not. It came from a vulnerability and very difficult circumstances my wife and I had experienced (all those things listed, including the loss of two loved ones). I decided that just as we had pushed through, just ~maybe~ it might be a reminder to others to do the same when life deals its harshest moments. I'm so glad to hear it had some form of positive connection with you, to whatever degree. :)
And yes, thank you for the reminder as well!! I'll be posting a bunch of new videos in the coming weeks. Be blessed!!
