"Taken as babies and raised to do this" is absolutely right!! I'm so hyped for the upcoming documentary where they show what the girls went through to get to this sort of standard!!
The audition and training for these members began over 6 nearly 7 years ago. The youngest members were 11-12-13 years old. The oldest was 15. Living and training together for all of that time. It is no wonder that their synchronicity, their unison, their ability to anticipate and move as one has been so developed and refined. Despite the number of years together, their friendship, kindness to each other, the sheer joy of being together, dancing together, singing together, continues to shine through. In each performance whether on a video, on stage, in practice, they always work hard and laugh hard. I am in love with this group.

Jake's reaction made me realize how powerful art is. His description of how the Shooting Star choreo makes him feel was so relatable, I felt the same when I watched it for the first time. XG are my favorite dancers too. So funny that mostly (ex-)dancers, like myself, can see the delicate difference between other girl groups. They dance like a professional crew. Watching this reaction is like hearing myself talking 😂
In my eyes there is no other group that reaches the level of XG (in all aspects combined plus rap, vocals, music preference…yes me like some real RnB/Hiphop) there is very little between the members.
Their dance practices without any camera fx shows their incredible sync. Totally an s-tier group. Ther dance, swag, vocals, rap, style and catchy music plus the excellent prod team for the recording and mvs, wow they'd be going global for sure! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Loved this and can't agree more, XG feels like the future!! They actually performed in the bucket hat fits from left right on a music show, i'm not exaggerating when I say that is honestly the best performance I have ever seen in the kpop space, no questions asked. It's insane.
totally especially when they were wearing the same outfits with gloves you can totally see how perfectly in sync they are it's insane...
when they did that i was gagged! All of them wearing the same fits, their faces covered in bucket hats and you can see them MOVE AS ONE. ❤ thats crazyyy 😶🌫️
I saw many reactions of XG. This is one of the best for sure. One funny fact. He mentions they are like one organism controlled by something above. Their call before the performance is "Heso-no-o" which literally means umbilical cord and express they are tied with umbilical cord and in sync. Each knows what others do without seeing 😀

I highly suggest following the XG UA-cam channel. These ladies were selected from a pool of 13,000 girls. As for choreography, they have Kiel Tutin who is one of the three responsible for this dance. His resume in the K-Pop industry is ridiculous. There's also a documentary which also showcases their journey.
Siena Lalau and Kiel Tutin took part on the creation for this choreography ( shooting star)

I think what I love most about xg is that you can clearly see that they all have foundation down which makes it easier to adapt to whatever is demanded from them (dance-wise)
yesss finally more Jake, there’s nothing like watching an artist watching art happen and falling in love with the way the art is executed (even if it’s not within their specific area of expertise to a tea per se).
I wasn’t expecting Jake’s reaction to XG so early so this was a blessing, I can only imagine Jake’s reaction when they finally drop a full album.

One thing that I really appreciate that just makes XG it for me is the fact that he said that they could all go solo, which is so true. And I will add, that it's not even just in dancing, they are so talented but so well crafted that they have what it actually takes to do their own thing as well. It doesn't look, feel nor seem robotic. Idk what they feed them in Avex or what Simon was envisioning but this is true work of art. And you can tell they all have a great and yet a genune passion for what they do, that it just screams positivity and good vibes.
1000000% their appeal to me is that I don't feel like I'm missing out on performance w them like I often do when I'm watching girl groups. The boys eat the floors uuuupppppp and the girls are typically giving swan/breezy day in a field.
AND like Jake said, they're all hitting their marks and everything inb/t. You can tell by their body language when they're moving that they're barely thinking about the choreo, they know it *that* well.

I love Jakes reaction to the shooting star dance practice. The way he speaks about the dancing and how it encapsulates the music as if you get “everything from the music in dance”. It literally all just comes together smoothly. Like the one dance sequence where he watched it like 5 times. It’s like one fluid motion into the chorus and the group is so cohesive. He hit the nail on the head when he says that they are like one organism when dancing. Honestly I think that and their swagger along with vocals is why I absolutely adore this group! I would say Everglow..but if XG is 100,then Everglow is 70..They can compete with XG but not a small margin..By saying this you were right no one is close to XG when it comes to dance skills(GG wise)..
