After investing, time, money and effort into scrolling through hours of TLC footage i’m hit with some sad news that the Naruto cosplayer and her Asian Prince’s relationship might not work out. Long story short Ella blamed her boyfriend for not coming to visit her all the way from China so she invited her friend over and became a cheater, and not in the video game kind of way. I ironically shipped this couple together at first cause it was silly and goofy. Who knew Ella would gaslight, gatekeep and girlboss ninjutsu johnny into taking the blame for her actions. This is why we can’t have nice ships in reality tv. Guess I’ll be doom scrolling on Tiktok for 3 hours. Here’s my commentary and reaction to this disaster of a situation. I am afraid for this type the work never gets done... not without intense intervention. Case in point, the 50+ year old woman who fell madly in love with a guy - first guy she ever dated actually - and went on and on about him to me (we barely knew each other, just same gym). I would listen and sometimes offer input. He turned out to be abusive. They divorced (I got to hear the story at several month intervals - felt like watching a kdrama cause so much happened since the last "episode"). After the divorce she met a guy who was "totally different" after she said she would never date again. How is she doing now? I do not know cause I moved countries and she never really showed interest in my life so I didn't make and effort to get contact info... but I hope she is fine

As a result, Chinese women are consider highly "valued" and have very high standards on who they date. And because of the 1 Child policy ruining the psyche of the citizens, dating a single father or mother with a child is considered a turn off if they want to have a child to continue their family lineage. It's a really messed up situation.

Cheaters love deployments! A lot of people cheat on their spouses while they're overseas and end their extramarital relationships once they're state-state side. A lot of sexual assault happens during deployments too...

When my boyfriend and I were watching this episode and she said cheated on him then guilt tripped him. We literally had to pause and take a breather for a half hour cause we were both so upset and angry.
Two things: Ella sounded like me when i was desperate and wanted the experience of a romantic relationship. I now learned that it is best to be alone than being with the wrong person. I also have experience of being gaslighted and punished because all i asked for was a video call with a guy living in a different country.
